There's no harm in asking here, but there are two other forums for getting/giving feedback. The Story Feedback Forum if for getting feedback on stories that are already published. If the story isn't already published then you can ask for a beta reader in the Editor's Forum.

You've said it's an adult romance. How long is it (in words)? Can you give a very short synopsis?

Sounds to me that they're asking for an exchange of good feedback, their feedback on my story and my feedback for theirs.

Sort of an attempt to get good feedback, though not necessarily 'real' feedback.
