My Bonnie lies over the ocean.
Prince Charlie lies over the sea.
That's nothing compared to the USA.
We've got a President that lies constantly!

.

My grandmother advised against discussing politics other than in a political forum, but :D :D :D

My Mom's only advice to me: don't get anyone pregnant before you're 18. She got pregnant at 17, so I figured she knew what she was talking about and was careful.

Well, my father told me he once saw a flying saucer. I figured he was older and had seen more stuff, so I suspended my disbelief. (Seriously, he meant it.)

Nope, New York, which has its own type of alien life, that is near and dear to my heart.

"Well, Major, there are portions of New York City that I would advise you not try to invade." - Casablanca

“Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine…”

Rick, as he reads the SS dossier on himself, "Are my eyes really brown?"

One of the most underrated lines ever.

Don't know when I've been so blue
Don't know what's come over you
You've found someone new and
Don't it make my brown eyes blue

Don't know when I've been so blue
Don't know what's come over you
You've found someone new and
Don't it make my brown eyes blue

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes

No one knows what it's like
To be hated
To be fated
To telling only lies

But my dreams
They aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be

I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free

Ah, that voice. . . . .
During a period of time when being black was not a good idea, even for those having a mighty talent, Paul Robeson did not come to England to play a concert which had been booked and sold out for simply Ages.
So he sang in the USA and his voice was played in the London theatre.
Apparently, it was Very Well Received.

Must I reiterate my policy on cement boots and sleeping with the fishes?

Not this time, dear. They really are terribly heavy, you know ?
:rose:

"He's not heavy, he's my brother."
