I have messaged about 12 editors on the site and none have gotten back to me. Not sure if its because they arent interested or busy or that they dont know it goes to their spam folders and they dont check it before emptying but i have already put up chapter 1 and 2 of Special Ring i have chapter 3 and 4 almost done and gonna start working on chapter 5 after that.

What i need help with on the story is to keep the story flow going smoothly grammar and punctuation. Also the editor that chooses to work with me will also have leeway with the story if they see something that would work better for it then what i write they can pass on the idea and we can work it in.

This story is gonna be very long so i need a good editor that wont skip out on me like my last ones did.

Hi, Compnerd,
I think that old system for finding volunteer editors is dead. The message board seems to be the preferred method, these days.
It'd be helpful if you posted a link to the earlier stories in the series, too, so potential editors can get to them from the post.

Noted your post. You need a Structural VE. These VEs are specialists in story layout. I'm awed by their skill. I am but a Copy (spelling, grammar & punctuation) VE.
 
please anyone help me out ive got chapter 3 ready for an editor and tons of people asking me when im gonna continue the story.

I put together a whole message on PM outlining the worst that could happen if we tried out, but your PMing is turned off. That doesn't give me a good feeling about your commitment to communication. Also saying you are "looking" and then turning down a volunteer? This is purely based on my read of your actions so I may be wrong but I am changing my "volunteer" to a "pass".

Good Luck in your search. I hope to read more of your chapters when you publish them as they entertained me so far.

Still not on.

* To switch on your Private Messages, go to User CP (top left of this page), click on Edit Options (in the left hand column), and then tick Enable Private Messaging in the second box down. Make sure that the box titled Receive Private Messages only from Buddies and Moderators is NOT ticked. Finally, click Save Changes at the bottom of that page.
 
i am still in need of an editor got a good sized following for chapter 1-2 and people keep messaging me weekly asking when the next chapter will come out.
 
i am not a professinal author i never clamed to be i need an editor that can help me with this story or i will have to end it at chapter 3
 
please someone i need an editor that will help me with my story ive got chapter 4 ready for editing now
