Engagement Anouncement

Nae nae... I stayed in a two bedroom luxury high rise condo for free. It's owned by a friend of the friend I was staying with; in a town not serviced by an airport. And, actually, because he didn't clean up the pee from his puppy when he left, just before we got there, we refused to pay the cleaning fee... Told him he could pay for ME wiping it up and mopping the floor. It was beautiful though, and if there were chocolates and a turn down service, then we were ripped off. Seems that wasn't part of the package.

LOL and on a side note, however, he did get laid (by my friend) in return.

As long as you both got a happy ending then it was worth it :p

You made it luxurious in your write,

There once was a GeeBee'r named Lance
who couldn't keep it in his pants
when he heard about the proposal to Butters'
he went absolutely bat shit nutters
and lived vicariously through Harry's gonads ever since

I'm never going to get the hang of limerick'n ................

Ha!
At the end of the day they were designed to be humorous you nailed that, the rest :shrug: whatever

Ha! I don't know about happy endings, but at least one of us got laid as a result.

And thank you. Praise from good poets is so much better than a, "that's nice" from my mom.

..
still waiting for butters to get across the Atlantic, she has an agenda laid out that precedes any urging on my part, I've told her if she's not here by June the I'm headed there, my toast is getting dry :rolleyes:

A June Wedding in Jolly Old England would be great!

All the best!

Are you here? Um you know what I mean. Here, as in the States. :)
not quite yet, Angie :D
but Harry checked our status early this morning and it said 'case approved' - now we have to wait on the letter telling us what's next.
3/4 sorted my end, just the housing situtation really but i'm sure sense will be seen. if not, there are other avenues to pursue.

so excited :D

All the best to both of you
aw, thanks... not quite there yet but the worst behind us now :cool:

{hugs}

what with passport, leaving one job and finding and starting another, sorting out the 2 at-homes financial affairs, care and housing, and everything else too long to mention for the 1 visa (both sides of the pond) we've certainly been kept busy! :eek:

thankyou again and i hope you're recuperating well xx

back soon, off to show no3 offspring about cooking salmon steaks with fragrant rice. :rolleyes:

Congratulations to you both!! :rose::kiss:
this has been the longest engagement :rolleyes: ty
Where in the States? If you'd rather not say, I'd expect a poem telling me it's none of my business.😉
..
I'm in Tennessee gm, no secret :D
my hill was once a reef in ancient times
now all that's left is the coral turned to stone
littered with the remnants of little fishie bones

my hill was once a reef in ancient times
now all that's left is the coral turned to stone
littered with the remnants of little fishie bones
Full fathom five thy father lies;
Of his bones are coral made;
Those are pearls that were his eyes;
Nothing of him that doth fade,
But doth suffer a sea-change
Into something rich and strange.

I didn't realize Shakespeare was writing about Tennessee. :rolleyes:

Congratulations on your almost completed union, you two.

we should

marry on a monday
when the air is bright and blue
look into eachother's eyes
knowing love is true
we should

marry on a tuesday
when the sun begins to climb
with all the world before us
and all we have is time
we should

marry on a wednesday
considering its name
and there amidst the grove of trees
swap love-vows same for same
we should

marry on a thursday
on a rainy afternoon
where all the raindrops sparkle
like tears of joy in june
we should

marry on a friday
in autumn's gentle mists
wear rings of corn upon our heads
bear love within our kiss
we should

marry on a saturday
when dusk falls sweet and dark
and whisper of those secret things
that dwell within our heart
we should

marry on a sunday
when the full-moon's high and bright
dance away till dawn's first blush
lit by love's own light
we should

marry when the earth revolves
the stars and sun and moon
in winter, spring and summer, fall
all blest by love's sure boon
we should
