Maybe he picked this thread to rant on because if its found out you are an incest author or writer here you will get "picked" on. Especially by the "cool kids" from such high brow forums as the GB and the Playground.

There are many, many cool, fun people on there boards, but there are also a bunch of high school mentality "mean kids" here who travel in packs and like to mock. You know, the ones that got their asses beat and were made fun of themselves and now have the safety of the net to hide behind.

Unfortunately the "freedom of speech" rule of this forum makes it a haven for them. That's too bad because although I do not believe in censorship, I do not believe in cyber bullying which is what goes on here.

There us a rule against harassment here, but it is enforced by the site as much as any other rule, meaning not at all. The site revels in and encourages cyber bullying which again is a shame because erasing a few hardcore trolls here would make the others think, but that won't happen. Especially when the worst of them ar in the GB where the owner has all her friends.

It was in a way meant to be an early warning to the others on this thread that this guy was stirring up shit. Admittedly I let him piss me off, and I shouldn't have. I also probably shouldn't have posted that rant here. Anyway, it's been dealt with

Shall I hazard a psychological guess? I'll hypothesize that incest-bashing trolls are projecting and reacting to their own incestuous desires. They don't admit their longing, that they want to be motherfuckers too -- haven't yet emerged from the MF closet, alas.

the owner whose site you use for nothing to promote your own writing and enter competitions in hoping to win cash prizes you mean?

do fuck off. plenty of other sites out there you can pay for the same privilege, and even free ones where your writing will get a tiny fraction of the exposure it receives here - like, for free.

the GB is clearly posted as non-moderated; there are rare exceptions when posts are removed, but they will purely be to do with encroachments on the site's few but upheld rules. the GB can be a great place and ignore is your best friend. how many other sites do you know, free or not, where you can lie and slate the owners in such a churlish manner without getting the boot. I think you are taking the absolute piss.

I recently stated on another thread that internet trolls are the biggest cowards on the planet. They hide behind computer screens and do what they do because they know that 99.9% of the time they can get away with it, and 99.9% of all internet trolls would never ever have the balls to talk to people's faces the way they do online. They're cowards. Plain and simple.

What about inadvertent incest? My story THAT'S MY GIRL is about a father and daughter separated for 30 years, who didn't know of their relationship when they hooked up. (She had been given up for adoption as an infant.) The biological father hadn't been a power figure in her life. I rate that 'evil' as being much less insidious than if sex had been induced by her male step-kin. YMMV.
