Unable to add "- EDITED" to new version of story title

Hi there, I'm trying to update a story I started this week but when I copy everything in, there doesn't seem to be any room to add - EDITED to the end of the title, as requested in the FAQ. Will that be a problem? I don't want duplicate stories or to lose my current votes/ratings/favs. It's for this story:

Use "Caught on Cam. . . Ch. 01 - EDITED" in the title line and copy the URL to the specific story in the Notes box along with the request that this be the story to be replaced, and you should be fine. All you need do is give the editor, Laurel, enough information for her to know what specific one you mean.

There are glitches every night around the time you posted. Probably some sort of maintenance on the servers scheduled to come up at the lowest traffic times.

It's usually very brief.

Thanks it did go through later that evening, good to know! New issue, hoping this is the right forum. I submitted a rewrite of http://www.literotica.com/s/caught-on-cam-er-uhhh-ch-01 on Friday and it posted yesterday. Was looking through this morning though and saw that sections I rewrote were still in the original form. Is there a delay in that coming up or did it possibly get messed up in the update process? I have the story and can resubmit if needed, just wanted to be sure since I'm relatively new to this process.

It might be time to contact the editor, Laurel, directly via PM (Private Messages--upper right of this page) to work out what the problem is. Not much you can get done on the forum at this point other than entertain suppositions and wheels spinning.

I've got a similar problem with a recent re-edit of mine. The re-edit has been approved but now the online display switches between the old and new version of the text with every reload!

Has your re-editing problem been solved in the meantime, wanderingpen?
