I don't need that I have checks from contest winnings with that information.

But I just can;t see her being held responsible.

She covers everything under freedom if speech.

I did. Because I was making a point that I have-what I believe anyway-is the site owners info on the check as do many others so it wouldn't take some big time search to come up with that information.

I wasn't calling attention to it to impress anyone. Its nice to say I won something here, but its not a big deal.

And I was being sarcastic about your remark being unreasonable, being told to "fuck off and die" on a story is unreasonable, but I don't let those bother me. Apparently some do, hence here we are on this thread.

Some people here are too thin skinned and will complain about these remarks like its really personal, its not, its cyber noise, block your ears and carry on.

If you look at their posting history they are pretty much busting balls and harassing one of the mods here on the ask a mod a question thread.

I would say its an alt of someone not happy with the way the site is run.

They can get in line with many of the rest of us.

My big gripe with how the mods are set up is they can only mod their own forum which is crap. If there is a blatant rule being broken in the AH or GB any of them should be able to delete it.

Chargergirl(fetish forum) is probably the most active mod here and a damn good one.

If she was allowed to come over here scouries would have been wiped a long time ago. But he knows that which is why all his shit is in forums without a mod.

Then again, seeing he seems to be under site protection, probably not.

Felt I couldn't comment sensibly without reading your LW story. Now I have and would suggest you are taking offense much too easily unless you are deleting comments. The story is somewhat two-dimensional and better described as femdom than LW.

The cat has been somewhat transformed from the site's description that has been transmuted into revenge on wife.

It reads a bit like one of lovecraft's pastiches winding up the LW community. Every trick is there from a female POV, blackmail, threat of divorce, forced voyeurism of sex and anal sex with another man, sterility of husband (metaphor for castration?) and impregnation by lover - not a stranger; with thin characterization.

FWIW, I don't think you're a thin-skinned baby. When I ran into the LW buzz saw last spring, I seriously considered pulling up stakes and going elsewhere, or even not writing any more stories--and either of those would have been perfectly reasonable choices, IMO, because this really can be a pretty rowdy neighborhood. I stayed because people told me I shouldn't be here, and went on writing because people told me to stop. But a part of me still wonders if that was the right choice. I'm not going to judge anyone who chooses differently.

Can the site do something about it? Yes.

But will they? Never they think its funny.

So your choice is deal with it or leave. But venting about it sadly eggs them on. There are authors here who troll other authors and there are many "ghosters" on these threads. They never post, but they follow, and a thread like this gives them little woodies beause their trolling got to someone.

Delete the comments as soon as you get them and never think twice about them. Or leave them there and don't respond and show you don't care. Either works, but don't harp on it or their pathetic mission is complete.

Make a simple gesture to let these bastards know that they have no power over you. Have fun at their expense. Or play along and have fun at your own expense.

I don't know about that. I took one person's trolling seriously, and now nobody in the CHYOO forums takes him seriously. You rip into them hard enough, they self-destruct. Proof: rippitydoo. He trolls everyone in the CHYOO forums, and even on the site, but once I started trolling him with a game of turnabout, he made up stories of being hacked, started impersonating other users, and (a personal favorite) that I somehow found his home address and his status as a diabetic (which, like his name, was his admission on open forum and allows me to post this without it being called personal information) and mailed him a giant box of chocolates hoping he would eat them and die. And all because he couldn't handle it when I played his game against him.

That's my advice to the thread creator, and everyone else. Troll the trolls. Trolls are so thin skinned they fall apart after one assault. If they mock your grammar or spelling, mock theirs. If they try to humbly say they think they're not perfect, point out everything they say and do that implies the thought (like how rippitydoo says all good editors approve his work 100% of the time, or how he ignores an editor's criticisms and suggestions and resubmits the work unchanged). They'll break quickly, and could get themselves banished. They won't go away otherwise, but they won't even be coherent anymore, and no one will fall for it. At that point, remember what everyone said: the harder the reaction, the more pain inflicted, and the greater the victory. That works for you now.

And if you don't want to play their game or this doesn't work, come join us at the Literotica sister site, CHYOO, and its forums. Our moderators take a strict stance against trolling. The only exception has been counter-trolling rippitydoo, but he's not really supposed to be active anymore, so that doesn't count. If Laurel has a problem with this, she should really speak up. We've been trying to reach her for some time to talk about someone willing to fix the site and banishing rippitydoo, peterbarry3, and tnadnuder, who are all the same person, as well as the banished users TJZombie, iwashacked, and fakeout001. Like I said, counter-trolling can be very effective.
