Calling out all Australians.....

*Leans forward, whispers silkily and huskily into your ear of the most wicked, purely wicked things I would do. Nails lighly raking over your arm for emphasis as I do so*

I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that, must be the accent. I understand the language of moaning so much more easily, give me a call sometime so I can translate *grins*

aussie gal living in the US here. feelin' a little homesick so thought I'd drop by and say g'day! so... g'day! :)

I spent 3 months in a campervan doing over 36,000 miles & got homesick so know how your feeling, how long have you been in the US?

There is another wonderful Aussie thread & it is one of the biggest on LIT that I'm sure will make you welcome & help you with being homesick ...

that's a LOT of miles you covered! was that in the US or somewhere else? I've been here full-time for about 5 years. been home a couple times since, but about due for another visit I think...

thanks for the heads-up on the other thread, Gil :)

Good morning all!
Just dropping in to say hello :) on the bus on my way to uni.. God, how did we ever survive without 3G Internet??!?
Have a fantastic day, everyone.. X

US & Canada was where the miles were done, I'd travel into the US from my sisters place in BC Canada & after my ventures head back there for some home cooking & get my washing done.

All mainly western Canada & US with a venture into the Iowa & states around it.

Quite possibly will need to go back to the lab to finish off some stuff...
:(
and more moving

oh no not more moving - just the assorted leftovers that you didn't get done last weekend i hope?

assorted leftovers?

i went from a 3 bedroom house to a single room. i barely took one hundredth of what i own. i just don't have anywhere to store it.

completely jealous! I've only managed to get up to Montreal and Ottawa so far and across to Chicago, but always as rushed, 3-day weekend trips. would LOVE to just pack a bag and explore...

I know that feeling. More moving after you've gotten the bare essentials. and the what do i want to keep and what can i fit in the available space. not fun.

But look at it this way, those things you no longer use are just going away!
