During Hurricane Matthew, I climbed onto two neighbor's balconies and tore down their wind chimes in the middle of the night.
Bloody racket.

While I love a well-tuned windchime, so many of them these days are just noise for the sake of it.
A neighbour a few doors down has about 20..... and they are all high-pitched cheapies. On windy days it sounds like glass breaking.
I just want to go there and cut them all down and leave a nice, deep-toned bamboo one instead.

I never bothered to check the pitch of the chimes with my PitchLab app. I think it was free...Breast cancer awareness something...something...
