Thoughts on a story that lacks dialog

I'm getting into this a bit late, and I'd love to see your story. One commenter (RoyceConnors) suggested a story of gestural interactions between deaf folks. A similar approach would be between people (not necessarily too intelligent) sharing no common language. Or people who are physically too separated to speak, who can only communicate via hand signals and body language (I've seen mutual-peeper stories using such plus hand-written notes). Are numerous possibilities.
