Cheating Girlfriend Stories

Not cheating wife, but cheating girlfriends. There's a lot of great authors that play in this genre. Off the top of my head, I instantly highly recommend to anyone:

Pretty much anything by Clarkoverns. Love, love, love the Becky series especially. This authors sadly seems to have disappeared, which definitely sucks as I would love to see some more from him.

The_Shadow_Rising is legendary for this. LOVE his work. He even has his own thread here. His dialogue is truly where it's at. As a huge fan of dirty talk, he absolutely nails it. I'm a really big fan of his Sophie series, admittedly the earlier ones rather than the later installments. Not that they aren't INCREDIBLE (because they are). Also a huge fan of Game Night.

I also like Remnick13, specifically "Annabeth Tutors My Roommate." Something very hot about that story, especially seeing a hot girl acting like a total slut and falling for the fat, unattractive roommate when she already has a hotter boyfriend.

I've mentioned him in other threads, but I might as well fly the flag for him here as well. There's a guy called TheTalkMan who specialises in cheating and adultery stories. Some of them involve married couples but I'm sure there's a cheating girlfriend or two in there.

Oh yes! Good call! I actually have him on my list as well. There's also en_extase, who has written some amazingly great stories.

I'm an Incest/Taboo man usually, but his stuff is so nasty and filthy that I'll even read the non-incest stuff.

Some great suggestions here. Some other authors that aren't mentioned here - confi, tripleL, openyoureyes, dantescristo, odeon, x-factor, G H Lawrence, (more on my favourites list). But these are all the ones that people usually go to first, but still - deserve a mention for those who don't know.

IMHO the cheating girl/boy friend has less emotional impact than the cheating spouse. So a supposedly steady date is screwing around. Yawn. They're a free agent till marriage. For more grit, incest is involved -- either your partner is screwing a relative (yours or theirs), or the relative you're screwing is getting some strange. But straying intendeds? Feh.

the cheating element can be daunting. those stories usually end up in Loving Wives, where, unless the writer has a very thick skin, it can get emotional.

Yeah, a lot of people find LW a hard category to publish stories in with the feedback. Cheating girlfriend stories though should be in EC, in my opinion. I don't pay attention to feedback/messages so posting in LW doesn't faze me, I just don't write as many stories about wives as I find them (slightly) less hot than the girlfriend/fiancee stories. So my advice would be that anyone who wants to post any cheating stories should either (or both, in fact) post the girlfriend stories in EC and/or just ignore feedback. (Constructive feedback is always good, everything else just ignore it. People take shit way too seriously.)

i wonder if some of the more ... dedicated leavers of public comments seek out cheating pieces via tags?

there are one or two cross-category comments written in the same style, i've noticed.

There are trolls everywhere, and some crazy people on the Internet. Cheating also brings out those who have been scarred in life by it who do not seem to realize that the stories are fiction for the most part. Like I said though, just ignore them. Also, public comments on Lit are a terrible idea as they are (as is the voting system, which has nothing to do with quality or people voting on something they know about - but I will not rant about that or I won't stop).

Truth is, anything with cheating is going to draw heat inevitably so you need a thick skin already, and the way LW is just makes that worse. Moreover, a lot of douches on Lit don't like women being the hero of the story or getting away with things. If a guy cheats there is a lot less flack and call for him to die or have diseases than if it is the woman who cheats - simply because sexist shit.

I say, write what story you want, ignore the idiots. Also, I would write stories in LW just to piss the idiots off, same as cheating and women being the hero of the story. Like I said, all you have to do is be prepared and ignore stupidity.

The cheating stories I write are if anything very therapeutic. I'd never cheat and hope I don't fall prey to it as I did long ago, as I think most of us have.

I find it fleeing to write about people who aren't constrained by my moral compass and do as they wish.

I agree with this. For whatever reason it's cheating wife stories that really get me going. The reason I started writing for Lit is because I rarely found the type of stories I wanted to read. Often, I'd see a story that started out good, but the author would take it in a direction that ruined it for me.

The negative comments never bothered me because I primarily write for myself. If others out there like it and comment on it, then that in my opinion is a bonus.

And frankly, many of the negative comments are so over the top hysterical it gives me a good laugh. In regards to my stories, they can leave the reader happy and satisfied or filled with intense anger, but hopefully it doesn't bore them.

I've learned in my short time here that my stories don't get read as much in LW, even though they probably belong there. So I go with Mature or EC, whichever seems to fit. It's less about harsh, useless feedback for me than it is about visibility.

For me, part of why I include cheaters in my stories is because, well, I'm not one. It's a way to explore something I would never do. Same reason I read other peoples' cheating stories, like en_extase or SeducedHylas.

Visibility is important too and you have to place your story as tactically as possible as The_Shadow_Rising has intimated.
