The Gift of Obedience

I often thought that Disney, being Disney, really wasted the erotic potential of the "gift of obedience" idea in Ella Enchanted. Now, imagine an erotic version of that idea, where a particular man or woman cannot refuse anything, with both positive and negative results. There is so much that can be done with this, especially if it's a curse for some reason.

I thought the exact same thing when I saw that movie.

You wouldn't need actual bonds for someone already "bound" to be obedient, would you? You would just tell them.
