Truly a Mental Case

I would seriously doubt he would even attempt taking the election by force. Why would he need to? He will be elected President again in 2020.

What I DO see happening is armed citizens banding together to quell the liberal riots when he does win.

I know Breitbart is not the most reliable source, but this is a direct quote, not an opinion piece.

It's better than anything KeithD has ever cited....Salon/Slate/RAW/Vox's biggest fanboy doesn't have any room to shit on Breitbart.

Why would Liberals riot over their candidate winning??

I fully agree.

President Trump's re-election in 2020 looks more & more like a SURE THING with each & every passing day! The Democratic Party is in complete CHAOS right now with twenty-three different lackluster candidates (one of whom just dropped-out of the race!)

The current Democratic Party is going through another 1972, with the far-left taking-over - dspite the fact that the American people DON'T WANT a far-left president! Add to this a booming economy, and President Trump could very likely be heading for a lopsided landslide victory (see: 1972 election results!)

http://www.uselectionatlas.org - (Dave Leip's Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections)

In 2016, the Trump-hating left violently protested the election results, trying to block the Electoral College from doing its job, and later promising that the Mueller Report would prematurely end the Trump presidency. None of that happened. Trump has brought jobs & energy independence to this country, is dealing with a border crisis & trade discrepancies, and restoring pride to the U.S.A.

Those are exactly the kinds of things that historically get a president re-elected!

That Breitbart link sure has a lot of clickbait. Are you sure it's the real deal?

There's six paragraphs of information, and about sixteen screens of crap nobody's ever going to read.

Eh. Will just be another screaming, crying, "that's so unfair"-fest. After the past 4 years, they should be more worried how empty thier lives will be without anything to bitch about should a Demwit win. CNN will go off the air with more than half thier material for stories gone. Either way, bring it.

From time to time, the Dems lose their collective minds and nominate a sure loser for POTUS. Usually, this happens when running against a GOP incumbent, such as nominating McGovern to run against Nixon in 1972 or Dukakis against Reagan in 1984. Will 2020 be another such time? It's too early tell but that's how it's shaping up so far.

Or, Never underestimate the DNC's ability to select the wrong candidate, base on their misreading the amount of influence they have in the Selection process.

I think Warren and/or Harris could make old Donnie boy sweat.

I would prefer Warren as I think she is more authentic and a hell of a brain.

Harris needs to serve a term as a Muckraking AG to show she will put the bastards in jail, no matter who they are, or how much money they have.:)

Jack,

I'm asking this sincerely. What makes you think either Warren or Harris will win? I honestly don't see them being able to win the nomination. What are you seeing? Keep in mind, I never thought a 1st term senator could win the nomination either....so i'm genuinely interested.
Yeah, the Democrats have standards.

Republicans, Trump, enough said.

First term senators have frequently been nominated for POTUS or Veep. going back to Warren Harding a century ago.

Why??

Radical anti-American socialist won't win the middle, that's who the (D)'s need to win, and that's who those candidates are out to alienate into either staying home or voting for Trump. They need to be after suburbanite Liberal Democrats and moderate centrist from all those red states.

You run Harris/Warren and you'll lose Nevada, Minnesota, New Mexico and Virginia....making that already very red map even more red.

Trump want's nothing more than the (D)'s to run a Warren/Harris ticket, that's an easy win for him.

If the (D)'s want to beat Trump they need to run a moderate, a Liberal Democrat who can win the middle and even pull votes away from Trump. Not a radical leftist who's going to alienate everyone but the fringe left in a handful of states.

Texas is fucking purple....ripe for the taking and (D)'s should be gunning for that shit. Talk about totally crippling the (R)'s.

But you'll never do it calling for open borders and socialism. :D

Put the Soviet colored glasses down, get back to liberalism, or the beatings will continue until morale improves.

I've got my doubts about Harris (that "I was that little girl" trick was more than a little bit cynical), but Warren has a pretty good common touch and a sense of humor, both of which remind me of Obama. She has also shown a willingness to hit back against Trump, which is what the Dems need most. There is NO sense in always trying to take the high road against a bully. It didn't work on the schoolyard and it doesn't work in politics. I think she gets that.
