Too many fat cunts at disney.
So you agree no subsidized internet or cable TV for lower income?
What about requiring TV networks to carry a certain amount of children's programming?
I think you should boycott Disney.
Easy. I live hundreds of miles inland and have no particular intrest in theme parks or whaatever. Do you think they put up ads in Canada?

How can they afford to go to Disneyland and still buy food?
Or you could have networks that carry only children's programs. I think there is enough material around to manage that. What about requiring TV networks to carry a certain amount of children's programming?
That would help some but not most. Either higher poor income or lower prices would work better. Though if the park does well at higher prices it is not likely that much will change seeing that the objective of the operation is to make money.Maybe Disneyland will start offering more subsidized tickets for the poor due to the bad publicity.
True, but the underlying problems are the same no matter where you look.I'm more worried about food, education, and healthcare.
Huh.
Somebody who works at Disney must understand supply and demand.
Who would have guessed?
The LWCJ on here thinks the gub'ment should subsidize people's internet and cable TV, so why not?
Yet, attendance at the park keeps increasing year after year:
2008: 14,721,000; 2009: 15,900,000; 2010: 15,980,000; 2011: 16,140,000.

The poor I know use their tax refunds to go to Disney; thats the refund they get tho they pay no income tax, cuz of all the child deductions and other credits.
Disney is a proud member of the welfare-industrial complex.

They do pay taxes.
I believe the poster said income tax, not sales tax, property tax added into rent, etc.
They pay the income tax of the executives at where ever they purchase things.
What executives? Disney executives?
Of any company where they buy the product. Businesses pay no taxes. They pass those on to the consumers who pay them.
So you support eliminating business taxes?
Businesses don't pay taxes.
Let's try again. Since you're saying that "businesses don't pay taxes" they pass the cost onto their customers, do you support eliminating these taxes?
Nobody said they released anything. Attendance isn't a huge secret. It's tracked from the outside like almost everything else. This is major news because Disney has NEVER released any attendance figures for any of its parks.
