So sometimes it feels like I am in a bit weird in that I love to see women tied simply. I definitely prefer the look of some nice rope bondage, but padded leather cuffs with metal rings are so much faster and easier to work with. You don't need to learn all those knots, you don't need to keep a big pile of ropes of various lengths for various purposes lying around. There's much less risk of cutting off circulation. You don't need to spend all that time binding, you just grab your sub by the rings, hook them with snap on climbing hook in the position you want them, and you are done. Want to change positions? Snap, move, snap, done, no need to untie and then retie. You can take them from bent over with wrists bound to ankles to being spread eagle on the bed in one minute flat.

Ooh, well said. I am neither here nor there on the drooling thing, but I like this explanation.

Thank you. I have a very tedious manual labor job, so it gives me a lot of time to think, and I like to spend that time practicing a bit of amateur psychology on myself, probing deeper into the way I feel about things and the underlying reasons behind them.

It's pretty common for people to ask that oh so elusive why when you tell them that you like something out of the ordinary, I like being prepared with a good answer. It's fun to watch shock and disgust morph into understanding and curious interest before your very eyes.

I like rope. It doesn't have to be the elaborate stuff you see in most pictures. The elaborate stuff just happens to be kind of "special" and interesting looking so it's bound to gain more viewership.

Rope doesn't have to take long and binding wrists takes a minute at most. I like rope because I can use it for more than one purpose. The same rope used to bind my wrists could be used as a chest harness. With cuffs, I can't do that.

Why would anyone want to do anything? Because they like it. Some like that, some don't. Personally I enjoy that gags sometimes make me drool.
