it would be really funny if this thread reached 5000 before the other.

I just had a hanker'n for some turkey, smashed potatoes and gravy

Roast some garlic with the turkey, and blend it in with some sour cream and use that to add to the potatoes, along with some butter. TO. DIE. FOR.

Here is how we make smashed potatoes in Cuchina Savage:

Peel and boil the taters
Add butter, cream, sour cream and cream cheese
Whip (no offense Eyer).
Then bake in the oven for 1/2 and hour

That sounds good too. Very low calorie!:D

I went out to the hazel wood,
Because a fire was in my head,
And cut and peeled a hazel wand,
And hooked a berry to a thread;
And when white moths were on the wing,
And moth-like stars were flickering out,
I dropped the berry in a stream
And caught a little silver trout.

When I had laid it on the floor
I went to blow the fire a-flame,
But something rustled on the floor,
And someone called me by my name:
It had become a glimmering girl
With apple blossom in her hair
Who called me by my name and ran
And faded through the brightening air.

Though I am old with wandering
Through hollow lands and hilly lands,
I will find out where she has gone,
And kiss her lips and take her hands;
And walk among long dappled grass,
And pluck till time and times are done,
The silver apples of the moon,
The golden apples of the sun.

Then I'll eat the grilled vegetables.:)

None, just rice made with roast tomatoes from the greenhouse.

The steak was very tender. Medium rare.

BTW, Anthony Bourdain says:

"'Saving for well-done' is a time-honoured tradition dating back to cuisine's earliest days. What happens when the chef finds a tough, slightly skanky end-cut of sirloin that's been pushed repeatedly to the back of the pile? He can throw it out, but that's a total loss. He can feed it to the family, which is the same as throwing it out. Or he can 'save for well-done': serve it to some rube who prefers his meat or fish incinerated into a flavourless, leathery hunk of carbon."

That sounds good too. Just don't like my meat unless it's cooked through. I know most people like it a little rare.

14 & 18. she resents every guy who shows an interest in me, but he is usually so easy going... there's nothing specific, they just don't like him.

Figure it out what their problem is.

64F and not a cloud in the sky this morning.

In preparation for the upcoming cold, I ordered some new slippers
