Absolutely, some people will skim till offended. I had a person comment that "You keep calling women "slave cunts" That is so demeaning! You hate women!, etc..."

Rather than point out that. 1. In my universe penal slaves were convicted criminals and referred to as "slave cunts" and "slave cocks" and 2. male and female convicts were treated he same. Enslavement tends to be demeaning." I determined that responding was just feeding the trolls and delete solves the problem.

Also, bear in mind that the nasty people tend to be the ones not posting their own work.
