I often "visit" that theme, not of werewolves, sepcifically, but of the primal nature of sex. (part of the whole I.M. Fauve thing)

I believe that refers to the dryad's tree names:
Conifer
tor......?
and Sequoia... lemme look.....

BACK! found the story... Torreya (Torreya is a genus of conifers... Gopher Wood)
