I love that one. Not only is the shape beautiful, but the woman is confident as she is.. not feeling the need to change... accepting that she is as she is, pregnant, life-giving.. it's quite gorgeous.

I don't know off the top of my head "why", but it is called the linea negra, and is a darker pigmenttion that sometimes appears during pregnancy in the second trimester or later.

I personally quite like them.

.. and why would the belly be softer post-baby then it was pre-baby? The skin shouldn't get any softer. loss of muscle tone?
