the draft

With both the NBA and NHL drafts last week, that got me thinking about what if you applied that model to brothels recruiting fresh talent. I was thinking a slightly futuristic setting. A lovely, naive farmgirl is discovered and then 'scouted' by different brothel scouts, put through a combine, is reviewed by media talking heads who debate which brothel she'll end up with, meets with owners for personality tests, finds rival draftees who care far more about the draft than she does, etc. Not sure exactly what the story was, but perhaps its an interesting framework for something.

I've read a similar story in the past but this is unique enough that it is different from the other. Based on that other story, I can see what directions this might go, but I won't offer ideas because I fear I might tend to make this look like the other, intentionally or unintentionally.
