Online editors

I see a lot of online editors for grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Does anyone use them or has tried them.
I was thinking of using one as a quick check before asking a editor to check my stories.
Nothing beats a editor from here reading and editing a story.

Make sure the one you pick is for fiction (if they even exist). Most of what you find on line is for business use, which does about as much harm as help to fiction copy.

I'm assuming you're talking about an online tool/program that automatically corrects your text for you? In that case, I can really recommend Grammarly. It's pretty good, although it's still a program so it's less accurate than a human editor and it makes some mistakes every now and then. Still, it's one of the best editing tools I've seen so far and I think it would really help to catch a big percentage of the mistakes in your story. I would still recommend to get a human editor afterwards because like I said, Grammarly is not perfect.
