Lots of reasons!
mostly time and energy
working a full time job and an extra 15-20 hours a week tutoring destroyed me i just didn't have the energy or time for anything else. however i do love teaching and My PhD is just absorbing everything. i've got a bout a year to go and i can't remeber doing anything else it just seems to overwhelm everything. but things are going well in the PhD at the moment ( for the first time in a while) and i am starting to think it may eventually end :)banana:) so i'm enjoying work again for the first time in a while which always makes life more bearable


Anyway as i am stuck in the flat waiting for the window man to come and fix my broken window ( sounds like a bad porn movie) and so i actually have some time for 'me' for once and i'm feeling happy i just had to log on and let all you lovely people know i am still alive and kicking.

possibly bad timing as i am off to the states for a conference on sunday and will be away for a couple of weeks so i can't get into the habit of posting again

Blue: Sorry for not blowing a kiss on the way back from the conference but i was travelling with my boss on the way and i don't think he'd have understood .

Zuke. Sorry i missed you in London. serves me right for being useless and not being here!

I'm scarred this may have been a singular appearance, and if so, I am sad. You are one of the most beautiful people on this entire board (In the entire world, really), and it's a genuine loss to all of us that we don't get more of you.

Thank you for what time you can spare. It's truly treasured.

hey Luv

the window saga is turning into a real farce
i cycled into work for 7am this morningn to catch up on yesterday
and at 8 the glazier phoned to say he was on his way
so i cycled manically to make the 6 miles home in time to let them in
and it turns out they had brought the wrong f'ing hinges!
arghhhhhhhh
and then i had to cycle back into work!
