It is not the degree of failure for each compulsory mediccal system you should be concerned with, it is the forcing doctors and nurses, the entire medical profession to lower their standards to that of the bureaucracy, i.e., the lowest common denominator.

It is also the pragmatism that is inherent in any bureaucracy, the cost/benefit ratio, the old and young suffer and die so the working proletariant can keep the party members well fed.

Socialism, by definition, cannot work, there is a finite number of people you can steal from; when they are all gone. you starve.

My advice to you is to arm yourself as best you can and find a defensible location outside the city, stock it with enough food and necessities for a year, at least, and be prepared to defend your self as best you can. Associate and cooperate with those who see as you do, the gradual dissolution of American society, the shortages of food and fuel, and the rise of violence in urban areas.
