A probability problem.

Courtesy of Jim Al-Kalili:

If you choose an answer to this question at random what is the chance you would be correct?

A) 25%
B) 50%
C) 60%
D) 25%

That's interesting.

If the correct answer is 25%, then there are two possible choices (A or D) - which gives you 50% chance of picking the correct answer. Thus, 25% can't be the correct answer.

If 50% or 60% are the right answers, then there is only a 25% chance of picking them. So those don't work either.

Therefore, the solution must be either uniquely A or uniquely D, but not A OR D.
