Twenty-three days!
I've got Chap 2 of Rented Out at ms.read's for editing and am hotly into Chap 3. I hope I haven't started another novel. I still need to build up the cover of the first and complete the second! Damn, this writing porn is addictive.

Doing well here ... just about dinner time. Having pulled pork sandwiches from a freshly smoked pork shoulder and fresh-cut french fries
Still unreasonably hot here (although we're only reaching the low 90s, but humidity in the high 60 percents, making it feel tropical), but it's supposed to rain overnight and start to cool down tomorrow.

We're having braised beef short ribs with sourdough biscuits and deviled carrots. I just put the biscuits in so dinner is in +/- 30 minutes.

I'm good. No storm and today only had a 20% chance. Was in the high 80F/low 90F's today. Not bad.
I feel I should give a dinner report.
Corn on the cob, sliced cucumbers with dill from my own garden , and crab stuffed portabella. And a glass of sangria.ETA: I think I killed it.

Dinner consisted of burgers and fries at Raunchy Ronalds...then it was off to see 'Shrek #3 in 3-D...IMO it's the best of the three...a clever plot, a new villain, some really cool animation effects and hilarious dialogue.
