just curious to know this.

i think it's been 11 years now, don't remember exactly.
 
Lurking on the story side - off and on at least five or six years. Actually get a login - three years; again on the story side. Wrote and posted there before stumbling into the forums.
 
Wow, just looked at my own profile to figure it out... just over 10 years... guess you could say it turned into a habit...
 
interesting!

it will be an interesting study to find out how many years did it take for someone to come from reading stories to frequenting the forums!

I had been coming to Lit to read the stories for about 5 years before I joined the boards 3.5 years ago. I have no idea why it took me so long! LOL!!!
 
lurking on the story side for probably about 8-9 years, registered to submit a story about 2 years ago (rejected lol). been active on the forum for about a week or so.
 
Signed up 13 years ago, but forgot the site even existed until two years ago.
