Says the guy who makes up things about everyone else's jobs to make himself feel better about his job stuffing violation notices in the envelopes. Have you been able to talk to boss into letting you get rid of that tractor feed printer so you don't have to keep tearing the tractor feed off the edges?

Hit him with a thermal paper fax blast next if you really want to cut to the quick.

I'd argue that the Militias no longer work for the security of a Free State. When the Nazis can walk armed down the street, 117 miles from Capitol Hill, and the only ones opposing them were hippies. Can't really call Hippies a well regulated militia. I would've liked to have seen an armed response.

That's a bad sign for America. You ask me, that's why I keep coming back to it. Here we have all these guns, and all these goodguys running drills to defend our country, but when we needed them most, they're nowhere to be found.

No wonder they can't protect their children from whiny teenage boys with no friends. They can't even spot a Nazi. They even had the "See this? I means Not Welcome!" flags.

America, it was fun while it lasted.

Nazi of course not being an actual Nazi.....just someone who doesn't toe the "progressive" line, like a good little obedient citizen of the state.

I thought somebody posted he was a taxi-cab dispatcher somewhere in Texas.

Why is it so hard to get the concept of a militia through the head of people who glory in the power and might of the state? The concept of a CITIZEN militias never were there to do the bidding of the state at any time.

They were to be formed, ad hoc, as needed, whether the enemy was foreign or domestic. They really don't get this. At all.

Very few on the left understand our history, the Second Amendment, or Scalia's masterpiece explaining it in Heller.

Right, and that means that it's not a Government Act. The government, even the Police can't surpress free speech, that would be tyranny. They were'n Peacably Assembled, they were Armed. However, a civilian Militia is not constrained by this, so they would be the people for the job, to stop Socialists from poisoning our children with anti-American sentiment, not Hippies.

I'm saying the Hippies showed up to stop our worst enemies from poisoning us with socialist rhetoric. Not the militias. They have 1 job.

I just have to point out the irony of peacenic hippies fighting literal socialists, and the Militias sitting this one out.

They really do think that it is the National Guard. Which is absolutely the opposite of the intention of the Second Amendment.

They live in Bizarro world where everything is opposite day and it's just exhausting trying to explain even the most basic things to them.

The act that created the national guard didn't amend the Constitution.;)

I'm not speaking for "Them." You want to talk to me, or speak for "Them?"

When it comes to guns I've learned it's only best to have conversations about them. People like you aren't worth having a discussion with on the topic.

We could drill all the way down to the actual words actually transcribed during the debates about the Bill of Rights and whether they should even have a written list of self-evident god-given Rights but it would be pointless. I've never ever seen anyone that has been indoctrinated by the #RedsForEd on the subject ever change their minds.

I've seen people on Facebook argue with the guy who literally wrote the book on Madison the most recent and most exhaustive book on Madison get into arguments with people who insist that their Google citations about what might Madison meant mean something.

I have absolutely nothing but derision for anyone who thinks the 2nd Amendment means anything but what it quite obviously means. The Second Amendment is the only amendment that is there to protect the rest of them and those that don't appreciate that deserve to at some point in their lives live under despotic tyranny.

The National Guard and Reserves (Also ROTC) are Militias, but they're Government Militias, not ad hoc Private Militias. The diffence is Authority, especially when there's conflicts between the Amendments.

In this instance, it's the 2nd, Militias doing their duty, constitutionally, and the 1st: The Government exercising censorship over enemies of the Free State without National Security at risk. (Sedition isn't a crime, so they can talk about Treason.)

Unconstitutionally.

I know there are private militias in, and around Charlottesville. Unfortunately, the badly Regulated one (Hippies) showed up to oppose an Armed one. That's a bad sign, for the safety and security of a Free State.

(You want to argue the constitutional meaning of "Regulated" go right ahead, but Antifa ain't.)

Well, at least you have the right pronoun, You instead of Them. I'm right here. If you don't want to discuss this, then that's your right too, but I'm not "Them" I'm not speaking for "Them." I'm discussing the irony here, because it's an interesting discussion. If it's not worth your trouble, then find a discussion which is, and stop wasting our time.

Those militias were so well-regulated, they couldn't move.

Yeah, that would be an example of poorly regulated. In the example of a double rifle, regulating them means zeroing both barrels relative to each other, so they hit the same point of aim, at the ideal distance. The point of convergence, but you don't want that so far away they go off in opposite directions, nor so close that the Elephant tramples you on momentum, even if you get both rounds (I'm just going to say .375 Holland and Holland Belted Magnum.) off.

Not a perfect analogy, here. because in this case, the Elephant has the guns, and was so busy ranting about Socialists in their rooms, they missed the ones marching within 117 miles of the Capitol completely.

That's not a Militia. That's just a bunch of troll, wondering who's trip-trapping on their bridge. If we had a real militia, we wouldn't have Nazis. I suspect where the missing militia men were, in Charlottesville. they sure weren't in with the Hippies...

Hippies promote socialist poison....almost exclusively.

They've never done anything to even admonish it much less stop it.

The diffence is Authority,

I like how in this case you can recognize that. Because government authority forcing things does make a difference.

But when it comes to economics you pretend it doesn't exist and pretend voluntary exchange of goods and services/private investments is the SAME thing as government forced wealth redistribution.

Mostly to justify your huge support of government (A)uthority when you approve of what that government is doing with it.

Sadly for him, BotBoy only has eyes for me ...

He's really a special level of garbage. Whine about anyone else getting anything while standing there with his hand out.

We just ratified a new contract, our package is just shy of $69 dollars an hour. If that makes me a slave, I'm good with that. Beats being a full of shit megalomaniac on a message board.
