How will a new one happen?

If you think you'll get anything but a warm fuzzy feeling of "fuckheahimarebel" for three minutes from opting out to make a statement, you're truly delusional.

Change happens when you work it. Consistently, actively, doggedly, for a long time. Not because you pout because you didnt get your instant unicorn.

"Work" involves standing for your principals once in a while.

Hillary doesn't stand for my principals. Does she stand for yours?

You're not wrong about the demographics but all three candidates Bernie Clinton and Trump appeal to voters for exactly the same selfish reason. And they all sold a load of bullshit to garner those votes.

This economy has sucked for over 8-9 years now. Putting a bright shiny face on what are actually pretty grim numbers hasn't changed the reality in most people's lives. This has hit the Millennials more than any other generation.

People want to see improvement in their actual lives , in their standard of living and all three of those candidates made promises that they cannot possibly deliver because the prescriptions offered will not work.

It came down to which Pied Piper the people believed because they needed to believe.

And it usually does.

I see you didn't answer the question. What's the plan? Besides the Herculean task of not pulling a lever, that is.

I'll answer yours: Mixed bag with a lot of no. But that's not my main criteria for supporting a world leader.

The foreign socialist squirrel's starving ego actually needs to fantasize his alien "support" means anything but to its insatiable self...

The work is finding people to lead this country that are worthy of it.

If there is no national leader worthy of my vote, I won't vote for one.

There are plenty of congressional leaders, judges, and local officials that I can vote for.

However, I refuse to keep holding my nose when casting a presidential vote for a candidate that will just keep running this country into the ground, upholding the corporate greed that's destroyed our economy, keeps helping to erode american workers wages and rights, and engaged in foreign policy debacle after foreign policy debacle.

If you can stomach a democrat that's far to the right of Reagan on most economic issues, and foreign policy, that's your right.

I'm not interested.

As much as I hate to agree with this statement, you're absolutely right.

We definitely deserve what we get here...

However, it's got to be said that the special snowflakes (millennials) voted in huge numbers against Clinton.

True but then they largely got behind her because "that's cute now toe the line." .

The real problem is the baby boomers, who should have the wherewithall to know when they're being connned, but apparently, they'd still fall for a Nigerian 404 scam even after them being around "for years" and having "experience".

They will persist in their 'fuck everyone it's all about me!!' bullshit forever. Thankfully they are dying out of politics in droves finally.

How will a new one happen?

By not voting for the Goldman Sachs nominee OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again.

We keep voting Wall St, pol for sale, warhawk for profit elitist scum to office and that is what we will keep getting.

I didn't say anything about opting out.

Change happens when you work it. Consistently, actively, doggedly, for a long time. Not because you pout because you didnt get your instant unicorn.

If you want to chug incrementalist kool aid to feel better about the DNC being a bunch of elitist billionaire dick sucks with absolutely NO intention of representing the working class citizens that's your bidnizz but I'm not buying.

I'm sure there's a sentence in there somewhere. Keep practicing.

But can you practice somewhere else? Humans are trying to have a conversation here.

That's not changing the rigged system though. That's sitting back and waiting for the rigged system to produce an outlier.

That's where the change starts.

There is an outlier near if not every election.

Americans largely ignore them though because Americans are fucking morons.

YAY HILLARY!! She's TOTALLY going to stick it to the 1% and help the working class!!

Just like Obama!!

Hope and Change!! LOL...fucking morons make it too easy.

We deserve the shit we're fed.
