The same post EIGHT times on the first page. FIVE on the next page! SIX on the third page! TWO times on the fourth. THREE on the fifth page. FIVE on the sixth. EIGHT on the seventh page. Now a THIRD on the eighth page. The same post 40 times. He's now up to 253 times posting the same thing (unless I’ve missed a few). Mind you this isn't a record for him.

Good luck to everyone! Time to start reading my way through these entries in-between working on mine. My non-contest story is still pending (I knew this would happen when I didn't get it done until Thursday night) so that will be up before too much longer for people that enjoyed my Halloween contest entry.
I've got the beginnings of a historical piece bubbling in my mind, maybe set during a New Year's or Twelth Night Ball in Henry VIII or Elizabeth I's reign. That's what I get for staying up all night reading The Tower and the Dream about Bess of Hardwick. It's hasn't popped completely yet, like PL was saying about her plot kernel, but I may follow this bunny down its hole.

Scouries, you wouldn't know an alt if it jumped up and bit you. It took you three years to figure out LesLumens was my alternate pen name, and it was plainly labeled "Alt for Darkniciad" and listed my website "Darkniciad.Com" the whole time.

Your "outing" of other people ( how many is it now? A dozen? Two? ) as alts of me is laughable to anyone with a brain.

Back on subject since I'm here checking the contest rules thread for the "Notes" line anyway.

I have "Center Piece" ( Thanksgiving themed ) as Les about half done, and with Monday off, I'm hoping to finish it in time to submit on Thursday.

I'm also working on the first new Laresa story in years, set to a Christmas theme. With any luck, I'll have it ready soon as well.

Could be two or three more, depending on how things go.

Doubtful. The inmates are still running the asylum around here, and it gets worse every day from what I've seen when I look in.

Nothing is going to stop me from posting the stories I enjoy writing or entering them in contests, though. Anybody who doesn't like that can take a long walk off a short pier.

Nobody replied to scouries or posted in his thread for a couple of months, not so long ago. I knew there was a reason why I came back at this time of the year. A new Laresa is more than enough to make me come out of the woodwork.:D

Now, if only the pain could leave me alone enough so I can read all those contest stories.

I'll probably have to C/P them and read them offline, then next time go and vote for them. Does anybody know if it's possible without the system thinking that I'm trolling the stories?

Open the story and linger on each page of it for a minute or so before clicking "Next" and then finally voting. That's what I've suggested to all my offline readers who have asked, and their votes don't seem to vanish when they do it.

The new Laresa will fall in the timeline immediately following "Genie Valentine", which is between Ch. 08 and 09 of the main chain. Like Genie Valentine, it will be entirely self contained and it could really fall anywhere in the pre-Society stories that take place at the end of the chain, though.

Calling it "His Christmas Wish" :)
