I used to write here and post here about a decade ago, then focused on other career and writing stuff for a long time, and now I'm back to have fun! No deadlines, no editors breathing down my neck, no distributor bullshit, no endless waiting for people to email back, no nerfing the kink for a wider audience--I want to write pure kinky fucking fun again!

Which is where I came up with the idea for Infinite Purple which is a going to be a science fiction serial based on an interdimensional television show of the same name. In the series I want to combine elements of classic science fiction pulp novels and comics with elements of Interdimensional Cable from Rick & Morty and a lot of the sexy whimsy in the underground sexventure game Trials in Tainted Space (TiTS).

The story would follow Ana Douglass (homage intended), a Las Vegas trans cam starlet and her producer on the show, Essi, the sexy interdimensional purple goddess who sets up and runs the episodes that sends Ana on all sorts of adventure in science fiction locations, for wild sexcapades, and crazy antics.

Each installment would work more or less like the classic three act television structure we all know and love, with reoccurring characters, beloved science fiction tropes, and homages and Easter eggs aplenty!

Any thoughts on how best to roll something like this out for maximum reader fun? I was thinking of posting the "pilot" first, but maybe waiting until I've finished three episodes would make more sense.

Are there any science fiction elements you'd like to see included, any you're sick of death of, anything from your favorite cult classics that I may not have heard of?

Sounds like a jolly good time.

The fun with parallel dimensions is taking reader expectations and play with them. Also, for this kind of episodic serial, it won't hurt to heavily borrow the narrative structure from modern TV shows. Use the first couple episodes to set up your universe, explain the "rules" (so the readers know when you eventually start subverting/breaking them), toss in the seeds for recurring faces both nice and naughty and then think about an overarching plot. It doesn't have to be a galaxy-spanning mammoth adventure, but even a cross-dimension-hopper like "Sliders" had a point ("find a way home"). It keeps readers engaged and allows you the luxury of "filler episodes" which just move the story along.

As for themes, here are some which always tickle my fancy:

- Anthropomorphic animals (catgirls, bunnygirls and the like). Play with the stereotypes of cute, fluffy, always horny. :)
- Sexy robots/androids: They can be as human-like or as machinistic as you want, but one of the cool things about sex bots is their modular construction. Add whatever toy makes for the weirdest/hottest sex scenes.
- If you want to go really ambitious, you can go alternate timelines/histories. A staple of dimension hopping. Extra-roaring '20s. The Japanese won WWII and now the whole world is like an anime. Place the cast into Ancient Greece for all the buttfuck jokes you can think of. Or Ancient Egypt. Sex slaves and humongous orgies and no one bats an eye.

I'm curious how you're going to address the issue of paradoxes. What happens if your star meets herself? Will it tear holes into the space-time continuum or do you take the superhero route and shrug it off, enabling "sex with herself"?

Anyway, I'm intrigued. Let me know when you have something published, please.

That's a really good idea about patterning not just the episodes off the television structure, but the series as a whole off the season structure TV shows use. I kinda liked the way Star Trek Voyager set up their first few seasons--maybe I'll have to go back and see what I can mimic about their organization.

I love anthropomorphic animal stuff too and sexy robots are a must!

The paradox question I'm trying to do something familiar but new with where Ana is completely unique, or at least she's led to believe she is by the show runners, while Essi is eternal across all dimensions, so wherever Ana goes, there's a version of Essi to help her, but they're not all the same, and she slowly realizes how special her particular Essi really is.

Thanks for the thoughts! This is really helpful in getting setup.
