Tibetan Mastiff, I can't look at pictures anymore or I'll wind up with another dog. Goodness they are cute.

That's how I feel about the Irish Wolfhound. I keep googling "Irish Wolfhound puppies for sale". Thankfully, the nearest ones I can find are too far to go play with them.

Do you know that I died by passing out drunk then choked to death by vomiting?

My sister just adopted a white pit bull and watching hers play with my pitbull makes me see that I need to get mine a buddy, there's just too many bodies in my house right now.

Those Irish Wolfhounds often smell like stale Fritos, do you have a detachable shower head to wash it with? They are sweet though, have you considered a Great Dane?

New Zealand Environmentalist Wants To Eliminate Cats To Save Birds
by Lizzy Duffy
January 24, 2013

Quote:
Gareth Morgan hasn't said he's a dog person, but he's definitely not a cat person. Morgan, a top New Zealand economist and environmentalist, is campaigning for a cat-free country...

In order to eliminate cats on the island, Morgan has four steps, which he outlined to The Atlantic in an email interview:
1. "All cats to be registered chipped and neutered — raising the barriers to cat ownership to those similarly already faced by dog owners. Chipping instead of collars is because cats more easily slip collars. [Ed: Chipping, or micro-chipping, means inserting an implant under the skin for identification.]
2. "Citizens to be encouraged to cage-trap cats wandering on their properties and turn them in to the local authority.
3. "Cats surrendered to the local authority Pound, to be euthanized if unregistered, to return to registered owner who is fined.
4. "Councils to offer free disposal of cats. Vets are prohibitively expensive."

Why not go the whole hog and buy a horse?

I doubt they allow those in DC city limits.

Heck, where I am we had to fight to get a license for a pot belly pig and to raise the deer in the back yard. And I'm in bumfuck MN.

I don't want to cast myself in a poor light, but truth be had, if the dog can stand my stink, I can stand it's.

For whatever reason, I don't care much for the look of the Great Dane. Maybe it's the short hair. Wolfhounds (and Deerhounds) just look cool to me.

Jesus, you'll need to buy jodhpurs, a crop, spurs and a goddamn saddle for yourself.

They're doing it all over again. Having dramatically underperformed the indexes in 2012, active investment managers are shitting in their pants this year as stock markets rally. They're scared to death of missing this rally, so they're doing exactly what Bernanke is manipulating them into doing— they're throwing caution to the wind.

Everybody in the pool !! We're back to playing musical chairs. It'll all be fine— until the music stops.

Bernanke would be wise to do the same thing Greenspan did— get out of Dodge BEFORE the shit hits the fan. Another bubble is starting to build. The Fed cannot possibly orchestrate a soft landing unless it starts to act NOW.

You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged
Oh, I realize
It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small

But I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors
Are beautiful like a rainbow

Show me a smile then,
Don't be unhappy
Can't remember when
I last saw you laughing
If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know I'll be there

Dad, thanks for coming over to visit me and my husband.

No, you will not be sleeping on the couch tonight.

My husband will.

Lets get into bed and spend some quality time together.

The winter storm lobby donated to NOAA so they could get equal treatment with summer storms.

i'm kind of pissed off right now, but not really too much. after all, she's an idiot. it's entirely possible she wasn't lying at all. she may have just been too stupid to know any better. still, i wouldn't exactly mind if she got hit by a bus or something. you know, just in case.
