Patting the backs and tooting each others horns

Magnificent Matt from Thieves Jargon
has chosen to publish an electronic chapbook
of mine in his latest issue.

http://www.thievesjargon.com

Plus, I've been shortlisted
for a slogan contest run by Kellogs Bran,
wherein I compare their new heart-shaped
psyllium-laced wheat flakes with

the inherent Ambrosia clinging to each
and every exploding dandelion spore
in a rural Maine marshland. ;)

Put that in yer CV and see if
it either smokes or salutes. :)
Congrats, Denis, and I see that you have a non-e chap coming out in 2006 for luddites!

Thanks but

I believe I would trade it all away
to be reincarnated some day
as that credenza thingie
you are perched upon

in your AV.

hmmmm...

Psyllium and Psylocibin. We'd make quite a pair, huh?

*I'm the Psyllium, silly*

;)

We sit and munch our breakfast,
fibre in the nook
psyllium in the asylum
and tea in the garden
surrounded by fresh flowers
of reddish brown and
aging yellow.

I'm quite mad, really.
Psilocybin hallucinations
as the walls around me
breathe the bran scented
muffin air of your aura
and my lips can barely
speak your name.

four hour hard on

dude, people these days don't wanna copy-paste the just
want
to
click

on something they can depend on

lycopodium dust
yellow and blown over the flame
dragon breath fire
and a couple million years back the evolutionary
cul-de-sac

someone still shakin the pollen
from those soft baby christmas tree
flickin their genitals
to catch that dragon seed

flammable spermatazoa
who'd have thought it would powder my table
and bite my
tongue

There is a cheeseburger in trade

picnic-shade of my giant sycamore.

live and magenta like dat-- and I'll

even cough up a Cob Salad Side
and perhaps a Frosty with Fries
and Maraschino cherry on top.

;)

Denis, I said a long time ago that you and Anna should get together! Why don't you two write something for the Challenge: Grab a Partner
https://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=293289
thread? I love the way both of you write and think you would complement each other very well!
Please write something together!

Kewl!

More please... :)
LOL. Ever since the perkie one started that thread to feed you, I seem to be trapped in giving you food poems.

At least this one is nutritious.

Pre-congrats to Mr. Tathagata for Friday's publication in Thieves Jargon.

(I hope it helps the home team too, Tathy.)

I dont chime in often, but feel compelled to also congratulate Tath, who has become a kindred friend via various avenues.

Your Bhuddistic writings and your sense of folly often make me light in the feet, and that's worth a million quid and tip o the hat, me brother.

And to Annaswirls, a very nice thread, and thoughtful towards the community of writers here, the old, the new, the gone. Thank YOU for your compliment re:my writing, which as Ange said, is often shot from the hip. Thanks to all the folks who value expression and are willing to share it bravely.

"Write fearlessly," is some of the best advice I ever received, from an instructive man, years ago, who had read my prose.

Again, congrats Tath, mate. Another fine day to put the feet on the floor.

;) ;)

Mister Patrick Carrington is the featured writer in the new issue, of Artistry of Life Death and Dying. Congratulations! What an honor!

:rose: :rose: :rose:

Tath and I also have poems there, and I my photo is with T's poem! Very cool for me. I feel okay about tooting my own horn while I am tooting their horns. But I only have two hands so if anyone wants to toot me, I would love it.

This is a great place to submit if you want to have your work out there and do not yet have a publishing record. The editor goes for what she likes and not for the name. Photo's too! Submit, what have you to lose?* *besides time

Correct me if I am wrong: Ange and Catbabe were in the last issue. Thanks to them for showing me this site. It is very classy, uncluttered design...very artsy feel to it (I am taking notes)

ps while I am tooting, that crazy poem I wrote awhile back with a squirell dropping an anvil through the trees was picked up by Niedergasse. It made me so happy that someone would want one of my quirky little things. Gives me hope.

The fall issue of mannequin envy is up and ready for visitors! If you have not been there in a while, much has changed. I have kind of figured out html a bit better and have spent countless hours getting it together. Mr. Carrington has also spent a great deal of time working with me on the next to impossible task of deciding which poems we will present. There is a nice variety-- hope you can come and see. You can even see Eve's umbrella ladies! ~Jennifer

It seems like a great place to read some um inspirational poetry. Mister Jim! My pictures are going to be in your anthology :)

Halloween Poets in Story Land

Just a reminder that we have many poets competing in the Halloween Contest 2005 . I am not suggesting that we play favorites  but it is always nice to support our poets whenver we can. Please forgive me if I have left off a poet-- and of course of course no discrimination against the non-poets, just wanted to put a word out that many of our regular poets are authors too!
