Revising a story already posted

As I reread the first chapters of a story I have already posted, I saw several errors worth removing. Is there a way to do this without starting over and resubmitting something as a new story? The errors are grammatical or mix-ups with characters' names, annoying to me but not big enough to lose the reader. None of the changes would involve the content that, I understand, needed to be approved before posting.

No, the only way is to resubmit it as an edit. But that's not difficult. Do the reworking you want and submit it again, with "Edit" behind the title and a note in the "Note" box that you are just making corrections. It will have to go through the whole editorial process again, but it will retain its views/votes/comments/rating.
