I have to agree with this. And reconciling our fetishes and kinks with society's expectations has always been a source of conflict. An ideal society is one that would allow us to accommodate whatever kinks we wish, as long as they don't cause direct harm to those who don't want to play that game. We are a long way from there, but we might be getting closer.
