Steve Martin Becomes First-Time Dad at Age 67

there should be a law against old farts knocking up girls more that are 20 yrs younger than them

Good news! There is, it's called "age of consent".

It doesn't apply here because Ms. Stringfield isn't a "girl" and hasn't been for more than 20 years, which means that whether she wants to sleep with/marry/have babies with an older man is their business and not yours.

I didn't mean that no one should have a child at an advanced age. Anyone who wants children should try, but they need to know the risks going into a pregnancy after the age of 40. Most men aren't aware of the fact that their sperm is less viable as they age. /QUOTE]

There certainly are risks, and people ought to take them into consideration. But... well, this sums it up nicely:

Well, now, let's see. How old or young does one have to be?
He's definitely old enough.
She's 41. Is that old enough to have kids? Especially if you're adequately prepared?

So I don't think it has a lot to do with critics, has it?

You sure do talk some tosh. . .
