Can't edit profile?

Every time I try to edit my profile, i get directed to enter my current password (and it seems given the option to change my password) ... when I enter my current password, I am then taken to subscribed threads. Not a huge deal (my profile is brilliant as it is ) but I would like to update it if possible. Thanks.
