"Career prosecutors here in New York have evidence that the president of the United States committed a felony by ordering and paying Michael Cohen to break the law,” Napolitano said while speaking on Fox News.

Thus spoke Andrew Napolitano, one of the Fox tabloid's more mellow talking heads, on the most revelation of the con artist's lies. Of late, Napolitano has given up any pretense of explaining away the crimes of the con artist, and by stating unequivocally there is evidence the con artist committed a felony, has thrown in the towel on what his Fox overlords want him to say.

Napolitano went on to say:

“How do we know that? They told that to the federal judge. Under the rules, they can’t tell that to the federal judge unless they actually have that hardcore evidence. Under the rules, they can’t tell that to the federal judge unless they intend to do something with that evidence."

A few days prior, Napolitano had said almost the same thing about Cohen's statements that he was directed to commit a crime by the con artist:

“This is the Southern District of New York. This is the oldest and most prestigious federal prosecutors’ office in the country. They would not make an allegation like that if they did not have corroborated evidence to support it," Napolitano said on America Newsroom.

"And they cannot make an allegation like that unless they’re going to do something with it,” he said.

Napolitano also hinted at what be going on behind the scenes:

"The Justice Department has all kinds of rules and regulations," he said. "They have three legal opinions on whether a sitting president can be indicted. Two say no, and one says yes. But all three agree that if the statute of limitations is about to expire, then the government needs to do something to stop the running of the statute of limitations, which would mean a secret indictment, about which the public doesn’t know."
