This is stunning and true! When I talk with my literary club members, they're shocked that depictions of "fat," "plump," "chubby," and "mommy body" women aren't much in romance and other genres of fiction. The women are stunned that characters aren't like those who read the books the most: housewives that aren't size 2 or below.

And yes, some of those pictures are wow!

While I love posting gifs and find them inspiring - there is a part of me that wants to cry because not matter what - I will never look like those perfect black and white girls. Am I perpetuating unrealistic ideals and expectations by sharing them? Or can the ones I post them for see past that?
