I'm reminded of a story once told about whale steaks by G. Gordon Liddy-

He was working for the FBI in New England back before the American moratorium, and the other agents insisted he order a whale steak.

"It tasted like the finest filet mignon...
which had been marinated in cod liver oil for twenty years!"

Judging scale and distance is always a challenge for me up there. The trees are shorter and the mountains ... eradicate my perspective.
