Wow, gone for 36 hours, the old thread closes and the new thread has five pages already.

I would have come on yesterday plus a nation was celebrating/mourning the death of Gord Downie of the probably greatest Canadian band of all time the Tragically Hip, would have been a better choice than Freddy given the day in question.

I am trying to find the clip of Dan Akroyd introducing them on SNL from 1995, but can't. This was the moment that we Canucks thought the US would fall in love, but it never really happened.

Either way Gord or Freddy is ok, just feeling a bit meloncholy for Gord and his version of Canadiana
