NFL Football 2013

920 yards passing, 9 touchdown passes and 99 points...

The Toronto Bills?

They play one game a year in Toronto (what a joke that is, half the tickets are given away for free), but they will never move to Toronto. There will never be an NFL team in Toronto. Ever. End of story.

Why not? Makes sense to me....

Why not? Makes sense to me....

Five simple reasons it will never happen:

1. No stadium (the baseball stadium they use for the Bills game is way too small) and no government will pony up billions to build a new one.

2. No owner. The NFL doesn't allow corporate ownership and there aren't many individuals in Toronto that could pony up about $1 - 1.2 billion US for a team, plus then build a stadium.

3. There is no benefit to the NFL to move a team to Toronto. None. Zero. The league would generate no new television revenue from a team in Toronto. There's just nothing to gain from it for the NFL.

4. LA still doesn't have a team. No way Toronto gets one before LA.

5. Uncertainty about the Canadian dollar. It's high right now compared to the US dollar, but it could drop back down to the 70-75 cents level, which would increase costs of operating here proportionally. The last time the Canadian dollar was low it almost cost Canada all of its National Hockey League teams (with the exception of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver - and even Vancouver and Montreal suffered). There is no reason for the NFL to risk that kind of scenario.

Wow. What the hell was Atlanta thinking there? Kick the field goal and make it a one possession game going into the half. You have to get points there.

They're playing 3 games in London now.....so don't be too sure about moving to Canada....

Looks like its going to be one of those games.....whoever had the ball last, wins

Are you kidding? Pats get the ball back, finally, then Brady just through a pick......

We need a football thread.

Congratulations to Peyton Manning and Jimmy Graham for winning AFC and NFC Offensive Players of the Week!

It's not football if you play with the ball in hand

I'm just not interested in the Cowboys and Redskins tonight.

who the hell could be? fuck the nfc east. i'm sick of that division being forced down our collective throat.
