With ham, lettuce and

wholegrain mustard.

Surely that should be tomato ?

PS. There's a joke on another board:
Stuart Lancsater asked the Coach Driver to stop at Longleat on the way home from Cardiff.
He reckoned it was the only Lions tour they'd get.

Good one, HP! Ham, lettuce and tomato.

Courgettes

The joke is even better! I'm going on Facebook to spread it around.

Personally, I take the view that if the good Lord, in his infinite wisdom, had intended me to eat lettuce, He's have given me long furry ears and bigger teeth.

I have to say that a little sugar on it can sometimes make it palatable

:)

Isn't she lovely!

Devil in a blue dress.

The artist's idea was to challenge perceptions of The Virgin Mary.

He knew and we know she couldn't have been a blue-eyed blonde. But her message is contemporary as well as historic. By showing her as a beautiful young woman he was following in a long tradition of portraying The Virgin Mary as a modern, desirable woman, emphasising and gloryifying in her sexuality. Some medieval artists had their works of the Virgin Mary destroyed because they were too 'erotic'.
