Confederate Flag Pride parade in the South

Don't matter..thats equality. Why wasn't Jessy Jackson or Al Sharpton on tv when a black man killed two white reports on live tv. Where were the riots and general looting for justice?

1. It's "Doesn't matter," not "Don't"
2. Having Black History month IS moving towards equality.

1) If you're not correcting every other variation of the English language, especially Ebonics which is about as butcherd and as far away from proper English as it gets in the US and I know you would never god damn do because PC. You can't say a fucking thing about the southern dialect either without being a total twat of a hypocrite.

2) No it's not...it's putting black people on some kind of special pedestal....equality would be teaching history with all persons of historical importance alongside all the other people from the era of study.

You and most of the left have about as warped of a sense of equality/fairness as the RW.......from BHM to M/F standards in the military there is just no amount of double standard uber biased bullshit you guys won't call 'equality' in the name of 'fairness'.

Why did they only get one day coverage. Don't white lives matter?

Yeah.

Why aren't the leaders of the white community doing something about this white on white crime

I mean we never get to hear about white on white violence

ever

it's a conspiracy

Two white news reporters one the actual reporter the other a camera man/reporter shot an killed by a black man on live tv.

Doesn't matter....no one gives a fuck.

No it's not a conspiracy...white on white crime ruled news media non stop till just recently and I bet it's not long before it's back again. But right now it's alllllllllll about white cop killing black person or white person killing lots of black people. It will fade when white boys figure out a more shocking way to get their 15min of fame with white people deaths but I bet we got some time. The mass slaying of children was about as fucked as it gets and even that got short changed compared to current white cop kills black guy media coverage.

Writing Southern and speaking Southern are TWO exclusive things. I am one of those that learned to write proper grammar - and try to use it as much as possible - at the end of a hand and ruler. Meaning, if I didn't write properly, the nuns would smack me.

Black History Month is in February, the shortest month.
White History is in ALL THE FUCKING TEXT BOOKS IN AMERICA!
Get the fuck over it!

No more so than any other and I don't see you in here correcting anyone else's written dialects, hypocrite.

Just be honest and admit you really don't give a fuck about how bad anyone else butchers the English language because you really just hate people from the south. Probably a racist fuck about too, only hate white people from the south...

That doesn't make it a move towards equality, re-writing the history books to include black historical figures in them (which they do thus negating your hysterical libhurhul derp rage) would be equality and fairness, anything beyond that is just warm fuzzy bullshit because pee cee.......sorry try again.

So your saying that textbooks are rewriting history, to include more minorities? You're saying that the entire "Trail of Tears" is being rewritten to accurately depict Jackson and his cronies about the land deal that moved the Five Civilized Nations west?

Whites complain when their history is challenged. I saw it when I was in high school, especially over the Iroquois influences on the Constitution - which NO TEXTBOOK still acknowledges - and Jackson's attempted genocide!

The fucking rag belongs in a museum!

Learned all about what a fuckhead Jackson was in a TX Highschool....1999

They were re-issuing books then that had a far more integrated version of history and I can't imagine it have been on a trend of reversal over the past 16 years.

Black history month is a consolation prize for being treated like shit......it's not a move towards equality/fairness.

When were you in HS?

And once again I'm pretty certain I herd about the Iroquois influences on the Articles of Confederation (and later to a lesser extent the Constitution) was mentioned. If not it was in US history II UT Austin.

and Jackson's attempted genocide!

Because he didn't really fit the criteria for genocide....just a shit bird who didn't care about the lives of native Americans. If a bunch died while evicting them from their homes he executed his plans to colonize a territory he didn't care....

Huge douche? Sure but it was not the planned systematic wholesale extermination of an entire race....

Even the trail of tears was guessed at 3500-4000 deaths mostly from disease.

That's not the same.

Not even all the mass starvation under Stalin was considered genocide mostly because that too was mass death via not giving a fuck, not an intentional mass murdering of a particular group of people.

The fucking rag belongs in a museum!

That's your opinion.....and depending on how hysterical you are about it I suggest you avoid the south entirely because it's not getting relegated to museums only anytime soon.

White Privledge

Let me break it down for you on why it is not only considered racist, but also white privilege to request a white history month or say things like white lives matter. You are undermining a movement and trivializing their mission.

From the website Black Lives Matter, "When we say Black Lives Matter, we are broadening the conversation around state violence to include all of the ways in which Black people are intentionally left powerless at the hands of the state. We are talking about the ways in which Black lives are deprived of our basic human rights and dignity."

I suggest you do a little reading on the subject if you'd like to know more. The movement is about re-establishing the Black Liberation movement.

Now let me ask you a question. I'm assuming you are a white male. Are you friends with any black people? Have you ever been somewhere minding your own business with said friends and been singled out and questioned as to what you were doing? You ever been walking down the street and had someone awkwardly go out of their way to avoid you? Ever been pulled over, not having broken any laws to be questioned? I have been in all of these situations with black friends. I have seen racism alive and well first hand. Each one of these experiences the confrontation or action was completely unmerited.

I am a white woman and have a mixed race family. My Aunt and cousins are Caribbean and Ethiopian; several of my best friends are African American. It's pretty sad when you hear a friend tell you his father taught him to keep his hands on the wheel if he ever got pulled over so the police wouldn't see a cause to shoot him. This man is a Pharmacist, not a thug, but because of the color of his skin and the repeated ignorant stereotypes and racist mindset of people; he could be a threat.

Of course all lives matter, but this movement is about bringing an end to the long history of black oppression.

I know this is an old post but it does show how the leftist think. Our civil war is history and at the time it was decided which side you would be on by where you lived not politics. Now of course the communists don't allow free speech, they believe that religion and education are something the state should control (Masters) and that it is all right to sell woman and girls into slavery. Remember it was the Democrats at the time who pushed the country into a civil war.

Things haven't really changed as far as the leaders go. Teach hate and feel sorry for yourself because of history. Don't live in the now. Of course the same people who tear down statues and burn books and commit violence towards people who do not obey what they wish are uneducated fools. They don't study history because they know what they want has never worked in history. As far as feeling sorry for yourself for something that happened in the past we all have slaves, serfs, peons etc. that were under the control of others at some part in our history. So should we hate the entire world for the past or should we make sure the mistakes of the past don't happen again? The only way to do that is remember the past not try and rewrite it the way the leftist are trying to do in our schools and politics.

As far as my family history goes it had people on both sides of the Revolution and on both sides of the Civil War. The family has also had members who have been slaves, black and white. I knew the uncle that was a slave and who spent four years as one, tortured and starved. He never forgave his so called keepers, but it is history now and I will fight anyone, even a low life Progressive Nazi or Leftist who tries to enslave me or mine, but I am not going to hate the people of the past. I will learn from them and make sure I recognize them if they return like the jerks who call themselves "Socialists" or "Communists" in this country. They are now not past so I have a right to dislike them.

Just one problem with your hatethink TurdGuySnot .... the orange rag is NOT the Confederate Flag. It never was. It never represented the CSA officially. Rednecks waving of it would be like a northerner flying the flag of the 101st Airborne as the US Flag.

But what the fuck would a TurdGuySnot know about that?

So you're advocating that we fly the Union Jack at places like Saratoga, Yorktown, and New Orleans? I mean, men DIED for their flag.

Not that it's really relevant, but, I was quite surprised to learn that Hawaii and several US cities do still include the Union Jack in their flag.

You can recognize and remember them all you want. Celebrating and revering them is quite another thing, however. I don't need to see the treason trophies to remind me that slavery is wrong, do you?

"But it's part of our heritage. Why are you trying to eliminate that?" is what I've heard from these revisionists.

My family has an ancestor who fought for the South, for a year then headed to Montreal.

Oh yeah, I've found about a dozen who fought for the South. It is what it is, but I hate seeing the Confederate flag or the statues on the town squares. I understand the wrong side of history.

Evidently, some don't.

I have no problem with the statues and memorials. I've been to several of the battlefields and Cemeteries including Vicksburg. They were from those towns or died near those towns. Many families had members on both sides.

I have a problem with today's rednecks farting on those who died by waving the orange hate rag.
