One of my pet hates is receiving an email from someone saying they liked my story but not saying which story they are talking about and not leaving an email address so I can respond. I would love to write back and say I’m glad you liked the result of my efforts and thank you for writing to tell me but that’s not possible.

I assume this is not uncommon?

Strangely enough no! But my chest slid into my stomach a few years ago so if anyone wants a picture of a pregnant man I’ll oblige. Provided they give me one as well. I mean a five.

Read BiBi or Dominica and I’ll give you two 5’s for the latest Mary and Alvin. I won’t even ask for the picture.
 
I get those too. And like you I would reply if they weren't anonymous.

And Melissa, yep I get those too. Why do men, and I am being sexist here and assuming they all come from men, but why do men solicit boob pictures? I can honestly say I've never asked a guy for a dick picture. I even had my best friend of 15 years get drunk last year and offer to send me one, I awkwardly declined.

I receive email feedback from both anonymous and with a contact; if they have a contact email listed I will respond in kind with a thank you but often that is it. Usually they only leave me an email address if they’ve asked a question and are hoping for an answer. I have also received long anonymous emails telling me what they liked or how my stories effected them. I wouldn’t call it a ‘pet hate,’ I appreciate that they felt compelled enough to type it out for me and if they chose to remain anonymous it is almost more endearing, being mysterious encouragement.

I have never gotten a message requesting naughty photos nor unsolicited dick pics. I guess I keep things rather ‘professional’ on the forums. Got to admit, I feel a little left out :’(

It is nice to receive praise. But so much nicer to be able to say “thank you.” Although even if I can’t say thank you I appreciate they took the trouble to write to me. Perhaps I could have chosen something other than “pet hate.” Any ideas?

This made me laugh, Melissa. I get those emails about sending tit pictures for a 5*. Sad thing is, I don’t even have tits. I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t want to see fruit of the loom boobs either. Hahaha

I've received email feedback in which the reader provided no contact. That is most frustrating when they ask a question and don't give their user name or email address.

Email feedback is fairly rare for me, and it's a feature that could go away and I wouldn't notice.
 
Yes, I've received messages that don't specify the story (or even the Web site it was read on) and even more that don't give a means to respond. The frustrating ones are the ones with fake e-mail addresses and I don't find that out until I've composed a response. I decide just to be happy the reader took the time to send something.

Sure, I get feedback through the email system, but the few who have done it have always sent an email address with it. Or they send me a PM inside the Lit system so they're "visible." So, other than anon comments, I haven't received anonymous email feedback, no.

As a guy myself, I can't answer that question either. I try to behave online as I do in Real Life(tm), and I'm pretty sure "don't ask new lady acquaintances for boob pics" is part of a decent upbringing. :)

So I guess, and I'm shooting blind here (ha ha), that guys asking possibly female online acquaintances think that fake names and distance gives them license to behave like baboons. Or they are so desperate to get their rocks off, they don't care. Or they are too stupid to use pornhub.

On a more serious note.., there is that "hunter and collector" subset of males. Some guys collect the panties of the ladies they slept with. Some may get off on the fact they coaxed a boob pic off an online "friend".

I think I'll stick with my plastic robots for that particular pastime. The "hunting and collecting", not the sex, you weirdos :)

I just sent you feedback for Songs of Seduction, Fire and Ice to make up for that tragic shortcoming on behalf of Literotica readers. Not having written anything to get feedback on, though, I don't know if the title automatically shows up in the header when you get the feedback email.

Obviously it wouldn't link to a story if you used to the contact tab on the author submissions.

I love it when people tell me they liked my stories, but it's so much better when the person tells me what it is about the story that he or she liked.

The one that annoys me is when someone leaves a vague criticism without any details or an ability to contact the person. Telling me you didn't like it (or that it sucks) doesn't do me (or you) any good without additional details, so I can understand the frustration.
 
I had this guy send me a very long message telling me that he has read a few of my stories and I come across as a person who wants to be dominated. So he offered to start a dom-sub relationship with me with a list of rules I needed to follow. One of them was sending was a naked picture of me.
