House Panel on Benghazi says no wrongdoing by Hillary Clinton or President Obama

The media may not yet be ready to acknowledge it, but the Hillary Clinton campaign is having quite a fortuitous week. The State Department officially confirmed that she violated no laws or policies with her use of email, leaving Republicans with little ammo for continuing to try to make a scandal out of it. That means their efforts will likely shift back toward trying to turn Benghazi into a scandal. But the good news for Hillary in that regard? The Republican-dominated House Intelligence Committee has concluded that there was no wrongdoing in Benghazi by Clinton, Obama or anyone else in the administration.

They've had to report no evidence of wrongdoing a dozen times now. It's as if they start new investigations just to keep clearing her.

If she didn't do anything wrong:

Why did she refuse to turn over the physical server? Why did she delete 34000 emails (claimed personal)? Why did she print only the ones she felt should be turned over? Why didn't she turn over the server after deleting her personal email?

You try complying with law enforcement in the manner she did, and you'll do a year for contempt and obstruction.

But she's special, State Dept., where she happened to work at the time, says so.

An FBI “A-team” is leading the “extremely serious” investigation into Hillary Clinton’s server and the focus includes a provision of the law pertaining to “gathering, transmitting or losing defense information,” an intelligence source told Fox News.

The section of the Espionage Act is known as 18 US Code 793.

A separate source, who also was not authorized to speak on the record, said the FBI will further determine whether Clinton should have known, based on the quality and detail of the material, that emails passing through her server contained classified information regardless of the markings.

The campaign’s standard defense and that of Clinton is that she “never sent nor received any email that was marked classified” at the time.
