Pity we can't seem to reassemble the Litogethers. There has to be some way of finding a discrete hotel near a major airline hub with freeway access most of us could get to. Tom and Molly suggested St. Louis but we don't seem to have anyone in that area who can make the arrangements.

If I had more time, I'd be right on it. With work, the kid, the script I'm working for local theater group (radio play), the five stories I have in the works and the attempt to sell several manis, I'm just not going to be able to do it. Sorry.
 
Yanno, I despise Las Vegas but that certainly would be a possibility. Rooms can be cheap and a group of smut writers would be far from the naughtiest thing in town!:eek:

I don't know the city, except by reputation. I was thinking that inexpensive flights to that destination seem to be available from every major city. And that the hotels would be used to arranging conventions.
 
I don't know what things are like now but back in the day, rooms and meals were really cheap because the casino/hotels expected to make their money off gambling. Then they tried to turn the place into more of a 'family destination'. My understanding is that it didn't work out so well. I believe the "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" campaign was what came after. Maybe they've gone back to living off gaming?

I think the entertainment brings in a certain amount...there's a LOT of shows and I think Cirque du Soleil always has something running.
