Has anyone here ever taken Advair?

I had never heard of it before yesterday, and my new respirologist has taken me off the stuff i had used past several years and put me on this. I've been reading about it online, but would like some info from a more personal perspective, if it's available.

I took it for a little over a year. It's not bad but tastes a little funky, so I just kept some water nearby. I did notice I was more sensitive to smoke and other pollutants, but that could just be because I could actually breathe. I had no side effects to speak of.

I haven't used it but I sympathize...I went to the hospital the other day when I had an asthma attack after being around a friends dog.

sucked

I have to find a new doctor.
