Trying to breathe
Can't stay away
You gave me more joy
Than any other in my life
I'm searching for answers
In myself
Unable to stop
Will my sins against you
ever be forgiven?
Or is it only ashes now?

a simple pedicure
dark purple toes
deeply conditioned hair
twisted up on my head
soaking in the hot bath
bubbles conceal
as i breath
relaxing
finding my center
a place of peace
and calm
self care
this is a gift
he gave me
and i will not return

he smiles at me
"you have cute toes"
pleased at this new habit
so firmly formed now

deep breath in
and exhale
my heart still aches
but my friend is with me
my companion
today and tomorrow
promises kept
the future is unknown
but we will find it
together.

Your voice makes me smile
Your laugh warms my heart
I feel safe in your arms
Tucked in your pocket

It matters not what we talk about
News, weather, work, family,
random ramblings of all sorts...
Time with you is never wasted
It nourishes me
Like water to dry soil

Time flies and then
We must part again...
The hour swiftly upon us
Will i ever be sated?
My fingers, my mind, my heart
Reaches for you
Long after you are gone.

The shadow of your touch lingers
The caress of your voice plays over my skin
Soon, my love,
We will be talking and laughing
You wil whisper in my ear
And tell me I'm your good girl
Making me melt.

We have set a new compass bearing you and I,
a whole new horizon unfolding before us.

We have studied the map,
and spent late nights concocting the beginnings of new plans.

I can see the road unfurling before us luv…
though it is dusk, and misty in the distance.

The moon will rise to light our travels
I trust the stars will blanket over us
as we pick up together, a journey renewed.

Turn on the radio luv…
let me rest my head on your shoulder
I will follow where you lead
and dance with you in the darkness
I do not need to know every turn and every rest stop
before we arrive.

Take my hand
I trust you.
we will traverse these roads together
I will delight in you and you in me.

We will find adventure in the smallest thing
and learn the joys of each new sunrise
greeted with grace, a smile and a kiss.

A midweek date
A stressful time
Slowly I unclench
Remembering to breath
Your voice soothing me

I will myself to stop
...the multi tasking
...the over thinking
struggling to find
a little peace, my center,
without being false
or shoving away truths

Sighing, i go through the motions
Willing myself to you
and then...
... space folds
....time slows
....as my lungs fill
...and my busy brain goes quiet.

I submit to your caresses
Quivering under your touch
As you pull me
Into your lap
And for the first time in days
....I feel safe.

Enfolded thus,
all voices but yours fade
Your kisses increasingly heated
Possessing me
Firmly pulling me closer
Your scent warm, reassuring.

And then, the shift.
You know what I need
Not just comfort and safety
But control
And submission
As you guide me to my knees
To serve and worship you.

It is like a complex lock
The tumblers all aligning
The puzzle pieces falling jnto place
The rightness of this
The peace this gives me
Kneeling. Safe. Yours.
Worshipping you with my mouth
Pleasuring you with my hands

All else falls away
as your hands slide into my hair
guiding me
gently at times
at others, insistent and forceful
my whole body craving this
my brain at peace
following your lead
being your partner
willing slut and fucktoy.

Your desire fuels my need
we crash upon the shores
of our passion
as you tease and deny
as you take and demand
as my wantonness
and vulnerability
take me to new heights
climaxing hard and loud
possessed fully
messy marked girl
clinging
dropping hard
Tears in the aftermath
As you hold me tight
and i beg you not to leave me.

Smiling
you say
"You are so adorable"

whatever might
have been withheld
is lost to you
in that moment.

Bound to you
Possessed by you
The key to my heart and soul
Yours.

button-front dress

The leaves were fiery red and orange
the air crisp
and a clear blue sky

You told me
“wear that new dress…
buttons
running
from
neck
to hem.”
Your voice
full of desire
and possession.

So handsome
on your motor bike
wearing your
leather jacket.
I straddle the seat
my dress
riding high
on up my thighs
holding tight
to you
wind blowing my hair

The engine roars
between my thighs
my breasts pressed
hard against you
as you carry me away
feeling edged
excitement rising
anticipating….
I know not what.

A remote
beach front cabin
awaits us
hot woodstove
jacuzzi
and huge bed

Our laughter
flies on the wind
into the surf

and you dance me
into our retreat
fabric and leaves
swirling ‘round
my calves

Tilting me back
your kiss is hot

And then we are
ensconced
for a week

just us two
kissing
touching
tugging
unbuttoning
pulling
caressing
tugging
exposing

until my dress

every button

undone

and the red leaf print

now

leaves almost nothing

covered…

and I am kneeling
eager
wanton
waiting
craving

“Are you my girl?”
nodding
“Do you trust me?”
nodding

as you slip
the collar
'round my neck
snick
the leash
is clipped too.

and my pussy
clenches
as you guide
your girl, your pet
across your lap
pushing the fabric to my waist
bare cheeks exposed
for the first
of many
spankings
this
week.

A full moon on the horizon
a sandy beach, wild and deserted
in the periwinkle twilight
the tide now rising
every wave pushing
pulling
tugging
over the glistening sand

Relentless now
the surf rolls higher
pounding
churning
As the night deepens

The rhythm changes
at mid tide
as the beach is subsumed
overtaken by the waves
and it is fully dark
under the sparkling stars
and glistening moon
but there is no rest
this night
as the waves advance
one after another
without respite
reshaping the sand
as water and sand mix
and churn
becoming one
and yet still two

In the deep of the night,
the beach is lost to the waves
consumed
possessed
completely changed
by this highest of high tides

Glistening in the moonlight
the tide finally begins to recede
so many hours later
the surf calmer
an aftermath
the sand washed
the surf quieter
and the beach
sleeps
in the arms
of the ocean.

That One Hot Shower

Green beans and french fries
Hot rods and station wagons
Campfires and kayaks
Sunrises and sunsets

The world turns ever on and on and on and on
One day there is history unfolding
Another it is the dust beneath your feet
The bones of the Earth hold their tale

One day we are the steady surf
That constant ebb and flow across the sands
Another we are a tsunami
A grand mighty surf for a day

And the Earth holds these tales
In its heart, our heart
The richness of time and events
Through it all, there is love

Baby's Kitty

I groomed her kitty
Trimmed back that fur
My how she purred

She loves lots of cream
Laps it up greedily
Until she is so full

She plays with me so hard
Bound up in cords and string
Until she purrs once again

She grows with me
Weighs on my mind
My baby darling's sweet kitty

Wheel of the Year: Asphalt

The last days of Summer
Asphalt fumes and burning rubber
Fill the air with a rumble from hell

Shrieking tires and a terrifying roar
The racers fly down city streets
Feel the road, feel the engine's rage

Now we enter the blur of tunnel vision
Fiercely into the distance we go
The cars shriek with the kiss of steel

Andrenaline rivers fill my soul
As the checkered flag falls
And just like that, it's over and done

Blistering Summer races end
The shrieks and laughter of fans fade
Softly into Autumn and Winter

Until we all come again
For next Summer's showdown
On the city's burning streets

Romance in the West

Sailing through the Summer sky
A steel ship on a hurricane wind*
Takes me to a land far away out west*
A mysterious land where the sun sets

I have a date and I'm short on time
I have so much travelling ahead of me
My lover awaits me on lone green hill
With a dinner picnic and an ocean view

More miles to go upon an iron horse
Soon she'll be in my arms, at long last
My heart aches for her look and touch
So many stars had finally aligned

Now hiking across a concrete jungle
My gear, heavy, after so many miles
And then there she is, her smile beams
Brighter than the blazing sun behind her

We clasp in a brilliant sunset by the ocean
So warm, full of life and love and delight
It is her! She is here! It is that moment
Seared in my mind and heart forever

The world speeds up in our epic tale
Dinner by sunset overlooking the sea
Cheerfully, birds sing while we hold hands
With plentiful kisses and delightful smiles*

Her laughter is full of music and thrills*
Long talks, walks and drives fill our time
Riding a giant ferris wheel with neon lights*
Beer in a pirate tavern in a dark quiet place

I love her warm hugs and fiery kisses
Her body that dances with me by starlight
Her heart and soul bare and bound to me
She is beautiful and the night is ours

Sweet kisses and sighs before dawn
Reluctant to part and yet we must
Tomorrow is a new day, it is so late now
I can hardly sleep, we have tomorrow.

Wheel of the Year: A Colorado Story

Midwinter solstice
white snow and luminaria
a small church wedding

Ten mountain acres
sprouted a new house and barn
by spring equinox

Horses in the field
with red indian paintbrush
a midsummer dance

Frost on the scarecrow
crisp leaves blow onto the porch
shadows lengthen now

Will there be harvest?
Not from this ill-fated match
Blanketed in cold

Some Holiday

That Summer we all smiled
Looking forward to rest of our lives
Hope, adventure, the thrill of living

Autumn came and went
A season of seasoning and laughter
Followed by the darkest of Winters

I argued with her, over money
And then she was gone
Murdered in the night

My cup was filled with sorrow
Abandoned and alone in a great city
Two cents to my name

And that one holiday came
They called it the season of joy
I worked so hard to live

My dearest friend came to me
Shared his family's holiday dinner
And I cried, with tears of gladness

And a gratitude I cannot describe
For my friend and his heart
Who taught me that there is still hope

A hope of light in life and living
When darkness seemed my fate
Perhaps even I could dream again

sacred space

A clean white open room
ready and waiting.
To think. To dream. To create.

She knew this was a promise
that she would not regret keeping.
Underscoring the value of such sacred space ~
Dedicated to her artwork, and yes, to her.
Inviolable and
offering more than she could have dreamed.

Great expanses of work surface
Riotious piles of fabric
and spools of thread
too many to count.
Indigo Girls singing:
"The hardest thing to learn was the least complicated"
under ever changing sky-light framed skies;
Diligently working day and night
every moment filled with gratitude.

Washers and Fireflies

The air is breathtaking
A furnace of Summer heat
Washes over us all
At the neighbor's backyard bash

Nearing the swinging gate
"They're all out back"
She smiles with pleasure
As more company arrives

A lawn of fresh mown grass
Smoke drifts profusely from the grill
Smells like burgers and dogs
My voice joins in the chatter

He hands me cool metal rings
The other hand, a cold bottle of brew
"Your turn" he says with a grin
Pointing to the open box

Arcing the washer with a flip
Over and over it turns
Clattering straight into the cup
With a grin and a whooop!

Groans and laughter abound
Stories swapped and tall tales told
As the evening cools
And the crickets sing their song

Fireflies and child voices
And the party reaches into the night
In that backyard barbecue
Making warmth throughout the year

Autumn Breeze

The wind in our hair
An open course before us
Not a soul in sight
It's just her and I

Flipping the disc
Down a long fairway
Ringing the chains
A whoop and laughter

Far and away
On the twelfth green
A nearby picnic table
Waits under the trees

Her legs in my hands
Spread wide and smooth
The cool wind caresses
Raises bumps on our skin

On a fine Autumn day
Her moans and cries
Drift away in the breeze
Our passions aflame

Those delighted kisses
Laughter that echoes
Across the open fields
Of the love we share

And the years go by
I can still see her there
Under the trees and sky
Her laughter on the breeze

On a Summer's Day

She dances on the shoreline
In and out of the rolling surf
A steady breeze across the water
Tosses her honey brown hair

Humming a tune in her kitchen
Preparing a lunch and a dream
Of his dancing strong fingers
Playing lightly against her skin

She smiles with her waltz
Before the floor length mirror
Trying this dress, oh, and that
With which shoes, and what jewels

Candlelight dinner and soft music
His warm, large hand holds hers
With lights dancing in their eyes
Another kiss on this evening's plate

She slowly twirls with her laughter
His guiding hand sure and sweet
Her dress flows with the breeze
Their tight embrace is forever

That last dance beneath the sheets
Warm, sated, flush with emotion
On a perfect day with her hearts desire
Drifting asleep clasped in his arms

American Dream

I stood my my ground
Stated my pledge every day
For the stars and stripes
Of Old Glory, and my country
How I so wanted to raise that Flag
Honored in its care

And now that I'm older
The dreams of America
Ring ever stronger in my soul
Dreams of Life and Liberty
Pursuit of Happiness
With all my friends, neighbors,
All my countrymen
In common brotherhood
Sisterhood

It is our country,
A land of real flesh and blood
Blood spilled in the name of Freedom
The blood of our fathers and mothers
They who stand and stood
Against the world
Willing to die for freedom

The land of the free
And home of the brave
We are America
Since when do we give in to fear?
Our selfless dreams and courage
Known and admired
The world over

A destiny of self determination
Lives in us all
It is who we are, our country
Our birthright
Preserved at the cost of our lives
For us all and our children

And those who join us, become us
If not today, then tomorrow
Next year, next generation
It is our home
And it is precious to us

We are America

Ghosts From the Past

Was it a dream or a reality
That tale that she told
Wrenched from the depths
From a time long ago

Was it her or someone else
Whose screams echoed
In those long dark nights
Those ghosts that do not rest

They come when they do
Unbidden, they are revealed
Is it for attention or release
As they seek solace in their pain?

Consolation amid desolation
Are you a friend? help find a way
Is it too easy to just proclaim
Not my problem, just get over it?

Reaching out and calming her fears
The day is long, the night longer
Sleep well, lay them to rest, little one
Ghosts have no place here, anymore

Life has moved on and been lived
Joyously, heartily, and wisely
With broad smiles of recognition
See? You have beaten them once again

I know it, some of us do have a heart
And help us when we cannot
Heal her, hold her, she is safe
For life returns and moves ever forward

Hide and Seek

Wind in my hair,
I race through the woods
frantically searching
mind racing
..."twelve... thirteen..."
tipping up the row boat
I slide underneath
panting...
"twenty!"
ready or not here I come!"

leaves scratch my back
in the small dark space
heart pounding
ears strain
his boots crunch closer
and stop

holding my breath
and then the boat tips up
.....caught!
squealing you grab my wrist
slipping under the boat
for stolen kisses
and naughty gropes in the dark

the best part of hide and seek.

Taken In Moderation

Taken in moderation
Do I drink my libation
Eat heartily this repast
Spend wisely of my cash

Do I drive past the posted speed
Yes, of course, I have a need
Even then, its not too fast
I want to get there, without a crash

I shower long long using water
Hot, of course so I tell my daughter
Yet still, it's not too very long
Water's precious, sing a short song

And with the most care I deem
My friends, family, even strangers it seems
Will I use sound judgement and patience
True moderation, care, will I exercise my agents

We are people after all, not digits on a screen
Obvious to most if you know what I mean
Funny word that, that word moderation
I like it most when used with consideration
