Authentication Failure Getting Into Chat?

Hello,

After years of using and enjoying the Lit Chat utility, I found a few days ago that it would not let me in using the same username and password I have been using for years. Help!!!

I can still access the bulletin boards and I even submitted a new story. It's just the chat function. Please help.

Is it possible to find out what I am supposed to have done?

Do I get a chance to respond to whatever the accusation is?

How long is the ban for?
