I guess some of my thinking is influenced by the Hindu caste system here, as well as the Orwell novel "1984", not to mention Plato's "Republic". The notion of a powerful, but highly disciplined elite dominating every aspect of life also has some hints of "Harrison Bergeron" by Kurt Vonnegut (you know, with the political leaders being puppets of a ruling party). The differences are clear, however. These leaders DO have kids, and they pick their political puppets carefully, rather than using a lottery system. After all, they want RELIABLE puppets, who have proven their docility and usefulness.

Actually, I saw a movie about that called Emmanuelle in Space. Didn't like it nearly as much as Emmanuelle Vs. Dracula.

What? It's not like there's anything else to do at my family's house over the holidays than to watch Showtime after everyone's in bed. :rolleyes:

Back to the topic, one thing I love in stories is when the setting necessitates a change in the sexual goings-on. ie: Sex in a zero-g environment, sex in the confines of a small spaceship with limited privacy, etc.
 
I am now writing about my favorite espionage/sci-fi/fantasy series "The Prisoner" with a much needed sexual slant. After which I have been toying with resurrecting "The Org" (formerly known as "The Borg") as a race of sexually charged cyborgs living in a commune of sorts intent on assimilating the universe's population centers to feel an Orgasmic rush. It'll have to wait 'til I finish "The Sexual Prisoner" series though.

I've certainly been a big fan of the women of the various incarnations of Star Trek. 7 of 9 was certainly a favorite, she always looked fantastic in that gray body suit. Who can forget T'Pol from Enterprise. I remember thinking how hot she was in the one episode where she went into the Vulcan mating ritual and they had to keep her away from everybody else.

I can't remember the character's name but it was the long haired brunette from Buck Rogers. Growing up I thought she was gorgeous.

I have also thought of 2 story ideas: one where a psychic superman imposes a world government and legalizes voluntary slavery and indentured servitude. It will involve either him or his right-hand man enslaving his secretary.

Another takes a firm position against anything that might become involuntary servitude, to the point of banning cuckolding because it "inherently becomes involuntary, despite having started out as voluntary". That is under a military regime that deports all cuckolding wives to Alaskan penal colonies.

What if in future, the combination of genetic enginnering and space colonization (in form of orbitial colonies a la O'Neil High frontier and enclosed asteriods) leads to many humans choosing to be whatever they want to be: angels, vampires, blue-skined, green-skined, merimaids, centaurs, etc. Like subculture of punk, rap, etc, those people choose to seperate themselves into sub-cultures and sub-species while still humans and engaged in interplanetary commerce while maintaining their own political independance. Such a place would make for really interesting series of erotic stories.

Where can I find Tales of Infinity?

Thanks Owlwhisper, I thought it might have been Erin Gray but I wasn't sure and I didn't feel like trying to look it up. If I remember correctly wasn't she always in some sort of white jump suit that was zipped up right to her breasts? Who could forget that long brown hair -- she was absolutely gorgeous on the show.

Aw c'mon Owlwhisper, you have to admit, some people just look reealllly good in their uniforms, and Seven looks like she was born in her's! That's why I love trek! They make the coolest uniforms and the names so great to go with the characters. Everyone gets to have sex with everyone! It just so happens that most of my story ideas have either an SF or Fantasy bent to 'em.

I'm low on time so I can't really contribute to the conversation ow, but I will, soon enough.

Incidentally, SEVERUSMAX, some of those ideas are remarkably similar to some of mine. Great minds, eh? :D
